Responses to Written Questions
Q1) Page 18-19 of the RFQ, Section Q (SUBMITTAL OF BIDS), Item 3, states:
Bidders are to submit their bid in electronic format. The electronic bid response should be a single file PDF (OCR preferred); it must be on disk or USB flash drive and enclosed in a sealed package (a sealed envelope will suffice). All signatures must be present in the electronic bid response (e.g., Bidders may want to sign any pages that require signature, scan them, and make them part of the electronic file).
Can the County please confirm that Bidders are to submit the electronic copy on a disk or USB flash drive? Or can electronic bids be sent by e-mail?
A1) A PDF copy of bidder’s Exhibit A – Bid Response Packet saved on a disk or a USB flash drive is required. The disk or USB flash drive must be enclosed in a sealed package with bidder’s name, return address, the RFQ number and contract title.
Q2) Will the County consider bids from non-SLEB vendors as well?
A2) Yes, the County will accept bids from all vendors who are not SLEB certified. All prime vendors must still meet the SLEB requirement. Please refer back to Page 9 of Exhibit A – Bid Response Packet.
