With the expansion ofinsurance companies both nationally and globally, an actuary’s skill set is becoming more and more valuable in today’s job market. As one of the top seekers for actuarial talent in the Bay Area, AAA NCNU Insurance Exchange is proud to present a scholarship for aspiring actuaries to aid them in their pursuit of an actuarial career. The recipient of the scholarship will receive areimbursement of exam fees and a study manual of the recipient’s choice for the next exam sitting as well as an all-expenses-paid trip to AAA NCNU Insurance Exchange headquarters in Walnut Creek, California, to meet with our wonderful team of actuaries and experience a day in the life of a Property & Casualty actuary.
To qualify for this scholarship, you must:
1)Be a full-time college sophomore of UCSBmajoring or intending to major in actuarial sciences, mathematics, statistics, or economics.
2)Have a 3.3 or above GPA.
3)Not require a working Visa to work in the United States.
4)Complete and submit the attached application to Shirley Sharp at by October 1st
