Anti-Bullying: Bullying is repeated & characterized by an imbalance of power.
Cafeteria Plan: Look at Lunch Schedule. Following same plan as last year.
Your class an earn up to 5 points daily:
- Entering in an orderly, quiet manner.
- Staying seated, raising hand for assistance throughout lunch.
- Using a quiet, 6-inch voice.
- Cleaning up after themselves.
- Exiting in an orderly, quiet manner.
Classrooms with the most points at the end of the month will be rewarded.
Discipline Plan: Classroom plan should follow the Student Code of Conduct. Review with students on the first day.
Discipline Referrals: Please contact the front office when you have a discipline referral that goes beyond your classroom plan. Details should be documented on a referral form.
Fire Drills/Tornado Drills: Review procedures with students/2 Fire & 1 Tornado within first 2 weeks of school. Please remember to have your attendance with you when you exit the building.
Badges – Wear them
Emergency Codes:
Red: No movement. The threat is a drive-by shooting or terrorist attack. Students cannot leave or walk around campus. All outside access to the school is barred.
Yellow: Limited movement. The threat is something such as a riot, kidnapping or homicide. Students can walk around campus but only with an adult escort. All outside access to the school is barred.
Brown: Shelter-in-place. The threat is as a chemical spill or nuclear explosion, and the school becomes something like a bomb shelter.
Blue: Safe team reacts. The incident is a medical emergency. The school's first responders, up to eight specially trained staff members, secure the campus and create a mini-command center.
Black: Evacuate. The campus is emptied because of a fire, gas leak or bomb threat.
Green: All clear. It is now safe to go back to class and resume normal activities.
Orange: For situations outside of those listed above.
