Types of Poems
1. Limerick: a short, humorous poem composed of five lines
It usually has a rhyme scheme aabba.
Example: There once was an old man from Esser,
Whose knowledge grew lesser and lesser.
It at last grew so small,
He knew nothing at all,
And now he's a college professor.
2. Haiku: Traditional form of Japanese poetry that usually has three lines.
The first and third lines contain 5 syllables each, and the second line contains 7 syllables.
