Hello, my name is Ron Craft. I grew up in Shelton and now live in Ansonia CT. I am a former US Air Force crew chief and was stationed at Loring AFB ME. I have been working on this book for well over a decade. I was there along with Mike Bouchard when this unbelievable event occurred. This was a day that will never be forgotten by any of us. What started out as a routine trans-Atlantic crossing soon turned into a day that would bring and prove heroism among its participants. This was an event that took the skills of three air crews working in unison to make a dramatic mid-air rescue attempt of an imperiled F-4 from the icy waters of the Atlantic. It was the cover story of the “Stars and Stripes” newspaper and the “Airman Magazine”. This book and movie will be dedicated to all of our service men and women and veterans for their selfless acts of courage and heroism that go unrecognized every day. I have engaged Mark Roemmich, President and CEO of Noble House Entertainment to bring this incredible story to the big screen. Mark is writing the screen play for the upcoming movie that will be based on the book. We need your support and donations to help us to continue developing this project and make my passion a reality.
