Schmitz Cargobull Full Service:

Optimised and tailored service elements

Horstmar, April 2016 – Schmitz Cargobull Parts & Services (CPS), a subsidiary of Schmitz Cargobull AG, presents optimised service elements, in particular for bulk goods transport customers, at bauma 2016.

System linkage and effective data provision

CPS offers customers innovative and tailored service elements through the use of online systems and effective data provision. As a result, CPS further extends its lead in trailer services. Cost transparency and individually calculated rate payments enable customers to focus on their core business.

  1. Repair management

The online Cargobull Repair System (CRS) networks customers, workshops, and CPS. This enables customers to consistently monitor their fleet and costs:

  • Access via the Schmitz Cargobull service portal
  • List of the customer vehicles in the system
  • Arrange and monitor mandatory inspections and upcoming maintenance
  • Partner and customer workshops can place repair and maintenance orders in the system
  • The costs are calculated automatically using pre-configured, individually defined conditions (specified times, hourly rates, material prices, etc.)
  • The orders are checked and approved by Schmitz Cargobull Parts & Services or the customers themselves, upon request

  1. Tyres, bodies, chassis and much more: tailored service contracts from CPS

Service contracts can be individually tailored to the customer's own needs by drawing on the data from the CRS, extensive experience and the customer's own requirements. Utilising specific components (ROTOS running gear, Schmitz Cargobull tyres, Schmitz Cargobull transport refrigeration unit, etc.) also provides additional benefits. Customers can configure their service package options from a vast range of different components:

  • Inclusion of mandatory inspections and upcoming maintenance
  • Wear repairs
  • Optional inclusion of the body and tipping hydraulics
  • Tyre management (including wear, vandalism, Europe-wide breakdown costs) with tyre selection (construction site, long-distance, short haul, etc.)
  • Europe-wide breakdown assistance with payment guarantee
  • Data analysis via CRS
