Students’ grades will be based entirely upon assessment of their knowledge of and ability to meet the Common Core Standards for Integrated Math 3. A 4-point rubric will be used for the purpose of determining each student’s level of performance on each of these standards. Assessments will be given in a variety of ways including but not limited to: Written Tests, Quizzes, and Projects. No extra credit will be given because it communicates that more knowledge of the content has been obtained than that which can be accurately measured. However, students will have multiple opportunities to increase their grades and levels through reassessment due to the grade replacement policy. In order for students to be eligible for reassessment they must be current on all homework assignments and complete error analysis. Students who do not pass the first semester of this course will have the opportunity to have their first semester grade changed to a C if they pass the cumulative final exam for the second semester.
