FOR TRAVEL AWARDS

SPRING SEMESTER 2008

The Lubin School of Business, through a grant received from the Figueroa Family Fund, is awarding scholarships for foreign travel in the amounts from $1,000 to $5,000 per student.

Grants will be made both for travel courses and for semesters abroad. Preference will be given to full-time Lubin undergraduate students who are members in good standing of either the Lubin Leaders and Scholars Program or the Pforzheimer Honors College and to full-time graduate students. However, all Lubin students are encouraged to apply. Travel grants will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and demonstrated financial need.

Selection will be made by a committee of faculty and the donor and will be made on or about December 3, 2007.

Email applications will be accepted and must be followed by a signed hard copy of the application which can be dropped off at the Dean’s office for New York based students, or at Associate Dean Karen Berger’s office in Goldstein Center for Pleasantville students, or at Assistant Dean Germaine Hodges’ office, room 516 in the White Plains Graduate Center for Westchester-based graduate students.

All applications must contain the following data: name, address, social security number, student ID number, phone, and e-mail, major and minor, number of credits through December 31, 2007, cumulative grade point average, and the specific travel that is to be done for either a travel course or a semester abroad program.
