The Scottish Junior Dog Club ‘Junior of the Year’

Clyde Valley Dog Club has very kindly agreed to hold the Scottish Junior Dog Club’s ‘Junior of the Year’ competition.

This competition will be held at lunch break on Saturday. The SJDC Junior of the Year competition is by invitation only. For this year only all juniors who are members of the Scottish Junior Dog Club, will be invited to take part in the competition. (For following Junior of the Year competitions, we will be working on a points basis. Juniors will be asked to keep a tally of their results throughout the year and send them in to the SJDC. The top ten juniors will then be invited to take part in the ‘Junior of the Year’ competition.)

The competition will be split into two groups under 12’s and over 12’s. The winner of each group will compete against each other, with the overall winner being crowned, SJDC’s Scottish Junior of Year.

Prizes

Rosettes for all competitors. Trophy for 1st in under 12’s, over 12’s and ‘SJDC Junior of the Year’ (Sponsored by Philip Patterson, Peter Elms Training and Skinners Dog Food)

The Scottish Junior Dog Club welcomes the agility community to come to watch this event and cheer on our juniors in order to provide support and encouragement.

The Scottish Junior Dog Club (SJDC) aims to encourage and promote canine welfare and sportsmanship in dog training. Furthermore, we aim to celebrate our nationality and bring together juniors alike in friendship and team spirit. (The SJDC is open to juniors up to the age of 18.)
