Directions: Pick your path and research the answers.

For those on the college path…

Research a college in which you are interested. Go straight to the college’s home website and find the following information. Type or write your answers.

(Most school sites will have a prospective/future student link; you can also search the sitemap or follow admissions links.)

  • Look up information about your major. How many credit hours will you have to take? Will you have to do an internship?
  • What are the total tuition costs, including housing?
  • Look up student organizations and pick one that might interest you.
  • Find the number of students enrolled at this school.
  • Check out the study abroad programs. If you could study abroad, which one would you choose and why?
  • What do you have to do to apply and what are the deadlines for application?

  • Choose a skill pathway to read more about and answer the following questions: What are the career options? What skills are most important to have?

  • Information – pages 34-39

  • Write down three jobs that caught your interest that fit your skill pathway. Explain why these would be a good fit.
