RE: Details for Farm Technology Days hosting event –July 8-9-10
I hope the summer has been going well for you—it is certainly going by pretty fast. Thank you for agreeing to host some of the State FFA Officers (SOs) during Farm Technology Days this year. This saves the Wisconsin FFA Association a great deal in hotel and mileage costs for the state officer team. I have worked it out so each site will have 2 officers staying with them.
(Please note—this is the same information emailed to you on Friday, July 5- THANKS!
The week’s schedule:
Monday July 8- 12:30- 4 pm- State Officers will have media training at PFHS
5 pm - SUPPER with Host families.
- PLEASE PLAN TO HAVE SOMEONE FROM YOUR FAMILY (FFA Member or parent) attend this event. At this time you will meet the officers you will be hosting and give them directions to your home.
-Please bring a dish to pass-- sub sandwiches, beverage, and table service will be provided.
7 pm—State officers to attend Tour Guide training at FTD site. They will make their way to the host site after this meeting.
Tuesday-July 9- FFA State Officers to Farm Technology Days by 7:30- 8 am
-State Officer Dinner- following FTD closing—approximately 6 pm (Likely at Clickers)
-State Officer work time on team projects- at PFHS (if needed)
-State Officers will make their way to the host families after this time
Wednesday- July 10- FFA State Officers to Farm Technology Days by 7:30- 8 am
-State Officer Dinner-at PFHS following FTD closing—approximately 6 pm
-Chicken from Packer Inn- need 1 or 2 salads, 1 or 2 pans of bars for this dinner
-State Officer work time on team projects- at PFHS (if needed) –
-Dairy Days gate set-up – 7 pm ---
-State Officers will make their way to the host families after this time
Thursday- July 11 Officer to Farm Technology Days by 8 -8:30 am
-They will depart for home following the show.
