LET’S DO IT (Beginners course)

This course provides learners a first introduction to using a computer. It is suitable for someone who has never/rarely used a computer before or someone looking to develop their basic skills and be free of a fear of computers. Our learning environment is relaxed and learners are encouraged to progress at their own pace.

LET’S DROP IN:

The aim of the drop-in is to provide an opportunity where IT skills can be practiced and developed in familiar and relaxed surroundings, outside of a course environment. The drop-in sessions provide an excellent place for learners on either the Beginners or New I.T.Q courses to come and practice their skills. It is also an opportunity for individuals who are waiting for an I.T.Q course to start to become familiar with the software and remain focused and motivated in their learning goals.

LET’S DO IT (Vocational Course):

I.T.Q Level 1: is a vocational qualification and consists of 3 separate units OCR Level 1 Certificate for IT Users (I.T.Q) WORD, PUBLISHER and EXCEL.

New I.T.Q provides a basis for progression to other IT awards. I.T.Q has been designed to be accessible to learners who are entirely new to using IT. It will equip learners with the basic range of transferable skills whether in employment, education or training and will prepare learners for progression to further training and accreditation in IT User skills at Levels 2 and 3.
