Teacher will help students develop/understand the rationale behind PRO in the cafeteria. Lead a class discussion, or use Take a Stand strategy (students stand to answer yes to a given question. Sample questions follow.
Ø  How many of you have witnessed a food fight in the cafeteria?
Ø  How many of you would prefer to eat somewhere other than the cafeteria?
Ø  How many of you had to wait most of lunch time in line?
Ø  How many of you had someone cut you in line?
Ø  How many of you wish you could go out for lunch?
Ø  How many of you get a headache from all the noise in the cafeteria?
Ø  How many of you had to pick up or move someone else’s garbage in the cafeteria?
Explain that the statements above are the reason behind the PRO cafeteria expectations.
