5th West African Clean Energy & Environment Exhibition & Conference from 13-15 September 2016 at the Accra International Conference Centre
Once again: Official German Pavilion
Top-Level 3-Day Conference
(Heidelberg / Accra) Organised by AHK Ghana and the German fairtrade Messe the 5th West African Clean Energy & Environment Exhibition & Conference (WACEE) takes place on 13 to 15 September 2016 at the Accra International Conference Centre in Ghana. For the third time, WACEE will feature an official “made in Germany”-pavilion.Another highlight is the 3-day Conference with speakers from policy and economics.
After the great success in 2015, AHK Ghana and the German fairtrade Messe organize the 5th West African Clean Energy & Environment Exhibition & Conference (WACEE). The event takes place from 13 to 15 September 2016 at the Accra International Conference Centre in Ghana.
The event focuses on renewable and conventional energy generation, energy efficiency and electrical engineering, environmental technology, waste recycling and water and sewage treatment.
Once again: Official German Pavilion
For the third time in 2016, WACEE will feature an official “made in Germany”-pavilion. The German pavilion is presented by the Federal German Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy in coopers with the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) and supported by AHK – Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Ghana.
Top Level 3-Day Conference
More than 65 most prominent speakers and an audience of leaders in policy and economics will discuss urgent issues at a 3-Day Conference facing the topics renewable energy & environment.
High institutional support
WACEE 2016 is supported by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy and the “renewables – Made in Germany” initiative, the GIZ- German Federal Enterprise for International Cooperation, the German Federal State of North-Rhine Westphalia, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and the CCI France Ghana.
Great success in 2015
Last year 1,906 professional visitors from 35 countries (+24%) discussed their business with 47 exhibitors and 65 speakers.
The exhibitors were highly satisfied with the whole event: 93% would recommend WACEE.
High West African imports of energy and electro technology
According to ZVEI-German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association the figures for energy and electro technology imports reflect the high exchange especially in this sector. West African imports of energy and electro technology amounted to 9.610 billion Euro in 2014 compared to 7.094 billion Euro in 2013, +35%.
