1 GENERAL

1.4   SUBMITTALS

1.4.1   Submit under provisions of Section 01 30 00 - Administrative Requirements.

1.4.2   Product Data: Manufacturer's data sheets on each product to be used, including:

1.4.2.1   Literature indicating typical panel, pilaster, door, hardware and fastening.

1.4.2.2   Preparation instructions and recommendations.

1.4.2.3   Storage and handling requirements and recommendations.

1.4.2.4   Installation methods.

1.4.3   Shop Drawings:

1.4.3.1   Dimensioned plans indicating layout of toilet compartments.

1.4.3.2   Dimensioned elevations indicating heights of doors, pilasters, separation partitions, and other components; indicate locations and sizes of openings in compartment separation partitions for toilet and bath accessories to be installed in partitions; indicate floor and ceiling clearances.

1.4.3.3   Details indicating anchoring components (bolt layouts) and methods for project conditions; indicate components required for installation, but not supplied by toilet compartment manufacturer.

1.4.4   Selection Samples: For each finish product specified, one complete set of color selection guides representing manufacturer's full range of available colors, textures and patterns.

1.4.5   Verification Samples: For each finish product specified, two samples representing actual product, color, texture and pattern.

1.4.6   LEED Green Building Rating System: Submit manufacturer's documentation of recycled content, in accordance with LEED credit calculations.

1.4.7   Manufacturer's Certificates: Certify products meet or exceed specified requirements.

1.5   DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING

1.5.1   Deliver, store and handle materials and products in strict compliance with manufacturer's instructions and recommendations and industry standards.

1.5.2   Store products indoors in manufacturer's or fabricator's original containers and packaging, with labels clearly identifying product name and manufacturer. Protect from damage.

**NOTE TO SPECIFIER.** The following two paragraphs apply to Laminate, Phenolic, and HDPE products. Delete if not required.

1.5.3   Lay cartons flat, with adequate support to ensure flatness and to prevent damage to pre-finished surfaces.

1.5.4   Do not store where ambient temperature exceeds 120 degrees F (49 degrees C).

1.6   PROJECT CONDITIONS

1.6.1   Maintain environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, and ventilation) within limits recommended by manufacturer for optimum results. Do not install products under environmental conditions outside manufacturer's absolute limits.

1.6.2   Do not deliver materials or begin installation until building is enclosed, with complete protection from outside weather, and building temperature maintained at a minimum of 60 degrees F (15.6 degrees C).

1.7   WARRANTY

** NOTE TO SPECIFIER ** Delete warranty provisions for products not required.

1.7.1   Manufacturers Standard Warranty: For Powder Coated Steel Material against chipping, flaking, cracking, or discoloration for 3 years, assuming proper maintenance according to manufacturer's recommendations.

1.7.2   Manufacturers Standard Warranty: For Stainless Steel Material: Against corrosion or discoloration for 5 years, assuming proper maintenance according to manufacturer's recommendations.

1.7.3   Manufacturers Standard Warranty: For Solid Plastic HDPE Material: Against breakage, corrosion, and delamination for 15 years.

1.7.4   Manufacturers Standard Warranty: For Plastic Laminate Material: Against discoloration or delamination for 2 years, assuming proper maintenance according to manufacturer's recommendations.

** NOTE TO SPECIFIER ** Delete paragraph above and keep paragraph below if specifying Moisture-Guard Edge Banding, Delete paragraph below if not specifying Moisture-Guard Edge Banding.

1.7.5   Manufacturers Standard Warranty: For Plastic Laminate Material utilizing Moisture Guard Edge Banding: Against discoloration or delamination for 5 years, assuming proper maintenance according to manufacturer's recommendations.

1.7.6   Manufacturers Standard Warranty: For Phenolic Material against delamination, breakage, or corrosion for 10 years, assuming proper maintenance according to manufacturer's recommendations.

1.8   COORDINATION

1.8.1   Coordinate Work with placement of support framing and anchors in walls and ceilings.
