Location: position(s) available in New York City for Spring 2015
Qualifications:
· Advanced Undergraduate (rising junior or senior) or Graduate Student with coursework in real estate, retailing, and/or business
Job Description:
· Assist in the day-to-day workings of the local C&W Retail Services team with tasks including, but not limited to:
o Canvassing, by phone and email local landlords and brokerage firms to augment/improve listings database
o Surveying local retail submarkets to confirm/correct existing data
o Photograph retail stores/districts throughout the local area to add to existing photo collection
o Sit in on conference calls and meetings with brokers at their discretion
o Assisting in the preparation of tour books, site packages, proposals and presentations as needed
o Other non-specific tasks as needed on an ad hoc basis
Compensation/Course Credit:
· Compensation will be hourly at $15/hour
· Interns will complete a final project. (For instance, a final project might be researching retail market specific assignments and preparing a report, such as the analysis of home furnishing stores in a specific trade area)
· Staff will work with students who wish to receive academic credit for the internship experience.
