ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA – UAS

All candidates are to be asked the following to establish eligibility.

If the answer to allof the following is yes, the candidate is eligible to apply to join ULAS. Is the candidate:
– An undergraduate student in full time education for their first degree with at least 5 terms of study remaining from Sep 18?
–At a university/college affiliated to ULAS(list overleaf)?
–Over 18 and ‘of a height acceptable to join the regular RAF’?
––(NB. Those wishing to join the RAF as pilots should note that they should be over 5’ 2” tall and less than 25 ½ yrs old on Graduation from University).
–Fit and active and able to pass the RAF fitness test?
–In possession of a UK National Insurance Number?
–Able to satisfy the RAF that they areone of the following:
  1. A British citizen i.e. born in the UK, Channel Islands, the IoM, or born overseas to British parents, and have a British passport.
  2. A British national i.e. have a naturalization cert and a British passport.
  3. A Commonwealth citizen.
  4. A Republic of Ireland citizen,
  5. A citizen with dual nationality, one of which is as detailed in 1-4.
