1.170 Stevenson Street - Tow-Away No Parking Anytime

DPT recommends holding a public hearing to convert the 22-foot NPAT zone on the north side of Stevenson Street, from 120 feet to 142 feet east of 3rd Street to TANPAT. Tom Folks, 701-4688

2.17th and Hartford Streets - Yellow Zone

The SFMTA recommends a public hearing to:

  1. Rescind Tow-Away No Stopping Anytime on the north side of 17th Street, from Hartford Street to 37-feet westerly, and
  2. Establish Commercial Vehicle Loading, 9A-6P, Mon-Fri on the north side of 17th Street, from 10-feet west of Hartford Street to 27-feet westerly.

3.Willow Street, 600 Block, between Buchanan and Laguna Streets - One-Way Street & Tow-Away, No Parking Anytime

The SFMTA recommends a public hearing to consider the following:

  1. Establish westbound one-way on Willow Street (retain existing configuration on Willow Street);

1.Monterey Boulevard and Plymouth Avenue - Bus Zone and ThumbnailIsland

A.The SFMTA recommends a public hearing to consider establishing a bus zone on Plymouth Avenue, west side, from Monterey Boulevard to 45 feet northerly; and

B.The SFMTA presents for TASC approval a proposal for the construction of a thumbnail island on Monterey Boulevard, at the intersection of PlymouthAvenue. A. Piccagli, 701-4481.

2.Market Street at 8th and 6th Streets - Right Turn Only Except Transit, Taxis, Commercial Vehicles and Bicycles

3.Powell Street between Ellis and Geary Streets - No Parking 7 am-7 pm Saturdays and Sundays

Mayor requests pilot closure of parking lanes on both sides of Powell Street in order to create more pedestrian space between HallidiePlaza and Union Square on two or more weekends in September or October. Jerry Robbins, 701-4490 / Jack Fleck, 701-4642

(This proposal is evolving. Some parking may be provided at hotels. Parking lane may be used for tables and chairs to free up sidewalk for pedestrian circulation.)

4.5600 3rd St. Armstrong Senior Housing - Overwide Driveway, Tow-Away No Parking Anytime, Striping Change

The SFMTA recommends holding a public hearing to:

A. Permit to install a 40 feet overwide driveway on Armstrong St. just west of 3rd St;

B. Establish "Tow-Away, No Parking" on the eastbound lane of Armstrong St. along MUNI LRV spur track;

C. Install a two-way Left Turn lane along MUNI LRV spur track leading to the overwide driveway. Will Tabajonda, 701-4452

5.808 Kearny Street, Kearny and Columbus Frontages - Additional Street Space

Bovis Construction requests the full time use of parking strips on the east side of Kearny Street, between Washington Street at 100 feet north; and on the west side of Columbus Avenue, between Ils Lane and 60 feet south (toward Washington Street). Temporarily rescinds the Tow-Away, No Stopping 3-6pm (Mon-Fri) on the east side of Kearny, between Clay and Washington Streets. Scott Broady, 701-4673

A. Rescind 1 general metered parking space on San Bruno Avenue, east side, from Burrows Street to 19 feet southerly;

B. Establish a red zone on San Bruno Avenue, east side, from Burrows Street to 19 feet southerly;

C. Rescind 1 general metered parking space on San Bruno Avenue, west side, from Burrows Street to 22 feet northerly;

The SFMTA recommends a public hearing to:

A.Rescind a MUNI bus zone on the north side of California Street, from Cherry Street to 55-feet westerly;

B.Rescind a blue zone on the north side of California Street, from 113-feet west of Cherry Street to 22-feet westerly;

C.Rescind a commercial vehicle loading zone, 8A-6P, Mon-Sat on the north side of California Street, from 135-feet west of Cherry Street to 51-feet westerly, and

D.ESTABLISH (a) a MUNI bus zone on the north side of California Street, from 70-feet west of Cherry Street to 116-feet westerly; and

8.17th Avenue and Quintara Street – Various

The SFMTA recommends a public hearing to consider the following:

A. Establish STOP signs stopping Quintara Street at 17th Avenue, making this intersection all-way STOP controlled;

B. Rescind the flag stop that serves MUNI routes 48 and 66 on Quintara Street, far side, at 17th Avenue;

C. Establish a flag stop to serve MUNI route 48 on 17th Avenue, near side, at Quintara Street;

D. Establish a flag stop to serve MUNI route 66 on Quintara Street, near side, at 17th Avenue. Cesario Agudelo, 7-4596

9.Utah Street - 24th to 25th Streets - Perpendicular Parking

The SFMTA requests a public hearing to create a parking chicane on Utah Street between 24th and 25th Streets by establishing the following:

  1. 90 degree parking on:
  1. West side, from 24th Street to 136 feet southerly;
  2. East side, from 189 feet south of 24th Street to 277 feet southerly;
  3. West side, from 20 feet north of 25th Street to 72 feet northerly.

9.Utah Street - 24th to 25th Streets - Perpendicular Parking continued

The SFMTA requests a public hearing to create a parking chicane on Utah Street between 24th and 25th Streets by establishing the following:

  1. Tow Away, No Stopping Anytime (to construct raised concrete islands) on:
  1. West side, from 72 feet north of 25th Street to 81 feet northerly;
  2. East side, from 95 feet north of 25th Street to 107 feet northerly.

B. Establish a MUNI bus zone on the north side of Geary Boulevard, from Spruce Street to 121-feet easterly (extends existing bus zone 51-feet); and

11.Yorba Streetbetween36th Ave and 37th Ave - Traffic Islands and Tow-Away No Parking Anytime

DPT recommends holding a public hearing to install traffic islands on Yorba Streetbetween 36th Ave and Sunset Blvd and 37th Ave and Sunset Blvd. and to install Tow Away No Stopping Any Time at the following locations:

A. Yorba Street, south side Sunset Blvd. and 36th Ave;

B. Yorba Street, north side 10 feet easterly from Sunset Blvd;

C. Yorba Street, south side 20 westerly from Sunset Blvd.
