DRUG PEDDLER ARRESTED AND 4.25 KGs GANJA RECOVERED

With the arrest of drug peddler namely Subhash (40 years) s/o late Bana Singh R/o C-240, Mangolpuri, Delhi, the staff of PS Mangolpuri has recovered 4.25 kgs of Ganja.

BRIEF FACTS / INCIDENT :

On receipt of specific information regarding sale of Ganja in C-Block, Mangolpuri, a team comprising of Sh. Jasmeet Singh, IPS ACP (U/T), SI Rahul Kumar, HC Baljeet 453/OD and Ct Yogender 667/OD was constituted under the supervision of Inspr. Gajender Singh, SHO/Mangolpuri to intensify the patrolling in the area. On 24.04.11, Sh. Jasmeet Singh, IPS ACP (U/T), SI Rahul Kumar, HC Baljeet 453/OD and Ct Yogender 667/OD were patrolling near Old NDPL Office Road, Industrial Area, Phase-I, Mangolpuri Delhi. At about 3:50 PM, the patrolling party saw a person who was carrying a plastic gunny bag in his hand was coming from Oil Market, Mangolpuri. On seeing the patrolling party, he turned back and started moving away in hasty manner. On suspicion, the patrolling party chased him and nabbed. On enquiry, he revealed his identity as Subhash s/o late Bana Singh R/o C-240, Mangolpuri, Delhi. On search of bag, 4.25 kgs Ganja was recovered from his possession.

INTERROGATION:

On interrogation, he disclosed that he works in Steel Utensils Polishing Unit located in DDA Market C-block being run by his brother. He further disclosed that he was unable to meet his family expenses from the earnings of his job. Hence, he indulged in smuggling of drugs to make quick money.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED:

Subash (40 years) s/o late Bana Singh R/o C-240, Mangolpuri, Delhi is a drug peddler. He works in his brother’s Steel Utensils Polishing Unit located in DDA Market C-block. He is married and has one child. He has mother, three brothers and seven sisters in his family. He belongs to ‘saansi community’. His mother is involved in several cases of Excise Act of PS Mangol Puri.

RECOVERY MADE:

1.  4.25 kgs of Ganja.

ALERT PATROLLING STAFF NABBED THREE BOOTLEGGERS AND RECOVERED 250 QUARTERS OF ILLICIT LIQUOR

With the arrest of three accused namely Madan (30 years) s/o Ram Chander r/o Jhuggi No. 314, Sanjay Camp, Haiderpur, Delhi, Umar Mohammad (29 years) s/o Janedar r/o H. No. 165, Gali No. 5, Swaroop Nagar, Delhi andPradeep (23 years) s/o Kishan Lal r/o H. No. 165, Gali No. 5, Swaroop Nagar, Delhi, staff of PS Sahabad Dairy seized 250 quarters of illicit liquor and Maruti Car used in commission of crime.

BRIEF FACTS / INCIDENT:

On the night intervening 23/24.04.11, Ct. Raj Kumar, 1126/OD and Ct. Satbir, 2119/OD were conducting night patrolling at Phirni Road, Village Shahbad-Daulatpur. At about 1 am, a Maruti Car bearing Registration No. DL-5CA-9847 came from Sector-28, Rohini side. On suspicion, they signaled the driver to stop for checking. Instead of stopping the vehicle, the driver accelerated the speed and tried to flee away from the spot. Both the constable chased the car on motorcycle and compelled the driver to stop the vehicle. On enquiry, he revealed his identity as Madan and two more persons who were sitting on the rear seat of car were identified as Umar Mohammad and Pradeep. On checking of vehicle, 250 quarters of illicit liquor were recovered. In this regard, a case vide FIR No. 147/2011 dated 24/4/2011 U/S 33A, Delhi Excise Act PS Shahbad Dairy was registered and investigation taken up.

INTERROGATION :

On sustained interrogation, accused disclosed that they all reside in the house of Hasrat Ali in Swaroop Nagar, Delhi and supply eggs to the shopkeepers in the areas of S.P. Badli, Swaroop Nagar, Prashant Vihar, etc. They disclosed that they used to procure liquor from Sonepat (HR) and supply the same in JJ clusters of Shahbad Dairy, S.P. Badli, Mangol Puri, Sultan Puri, etc. They further disclosed that Maruti Car used in commission of crime had been purchaed by Hasrat Ali from one Saroj r/o Metro Vihar but he did not get the documents transferred in his name so far. Efforts are on to locate Hasrat Ali.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSONS :

1.  Madan (30 years) s/o Ram Chander r/o Jhuggi No. 314, Sanjay Camp, Haiderpur, Delhi is a school dropout. He is married. He is previously involved in two cases of Excise Act of PSs S.P. Badli and Jahangir Puri.

2.  Umar Mohammad (29 years) s/o Janedar r/o H. No. 165, Swaroop Nagar, Delhi is a school dropout. He is married.

3.  Pradeep (23 years) s/o Kishan Lal r/o H. No. 165, Swaroop Nagar, Delhi is a school dropout. He is married.

RECOVERIES MADE :

1.  250 quarters of illicit liquor.

2.  Maruti-800 bearing Registration No. DL-5C A-9847 used in commission of crime.

PRESS RELEASE SPECIAL CELL 26th April, 2011

“History Sheeter carrying a reward of Rs 15,000/- arrested”

The officers of Special Cell led by Inspector Pankaj Sood under the supervision of Shri Subhash Tandon, ACP/NR have arrested Vicky @ Vikrant (aged 29 years) r/o Village Sunhera, District Baghpat, UP from Sector-3, Rohini, Delhi on 25th April 2011 while he came to meet a Property Dealer for some property deal. Vicky @ Vikrant is a known criminal and is carrying a reward of Rs 15,000/- on his arrest.

The team of Special Cell/NR was working on information that Vicky @ Vikrant r/o Village Sunhera, District Baghpat, UP is a notorious criminal and has several previous involvements in Delhi. The said Vicky @ Vikrant had committed a sensational robbery in Madhya Pradesh and has been carrying a reward of Rs 15,000/- from Madhya Pradesh. The record of Vicky @ Vikrant was procured from PS Khekra, Baghpat, UP and it came to notice that said Vicky @ Vikrant is a “History Sheeter of PS Khekra” and MP Police has declared a reward of Rs 15,000/- on his arrest in a robbery case registered vide FIR No. 468/09 PS Sujalpur, Distt. Sajapur, MP. On interrogation Vicky @ Vikrant revealed that he is a native of Baghpat, UP and started his criminal activities in the year 1999. He has committed offences including murders, attempt to murders, kidnapping, robberies, possessing illegal arms, etc. In the year 1999, while he was pursuing his graduation from Delhi University, he injured one of his class fellows and was arrested for attempt to murder.

After that, in the year 2003, he was again arrested at Delhi in cases of murder and robbery & illegal weapon was also recovered from him. In the year 2009, due to personal enmity, he committed double murder in the area of PS Daurala, UP and absconded & was arrested lateron. During the period of absconding he stayed at Indore and was associated with robbers who committed a sensational robbery of Rs 20 lacs from the area of PS Sujalpur, MP. As per the record of PS Khekra, Baghpat, UP, he has nine involvements including 4 criminal involvements of Delhi.

Further investigation is going on.

GANG OF THIEVES STEALING PETROL FROM OIL TANKERS BUSTED.

With the arrest of five persons namely Shankar Kumar Mehto , Sunil Kumar, Dinesh Kumar@ Deenu, Ram Bhadur @ Bhadur, and Bijender , AATS/South-West District Police has busted a gang of Tanker Oil Thieves.

NAME AND PROFILE OF ACCUSED

1.  Shankar Kumar Mehto S/o Kali Mahto R/o Vill. Asiya, , PO Ichak, PS-Ichak, Distt. Hazaribagh, Jharkand. Age-30yrs.

2.  Sunil Kumar S/o Vishwashar Mehto r/o vill Kuraha, PO Ichak, PS-Ichak Distt. Hazaribagh, Jharkand. Age-30yrs.

3.  Dinesh Kumar@ Deenu S/o Bijali Mehto r/o vill Kuraha, PO Ichak, PS-Ichak Distt. Hazaribagh, Jharkand. Age-30yrs.

4.  Ram Bhadur @ Bhadur S/o Chander Kumar r/o Indulpur, PO Sarwan, Distt.Raibarely UP. Age-24yrs.

5.  Bijender S/o Attar Singh R/o Vill Barahi, Bhadurgarh, Haryana. Age-34yrs.

GIST OF THE CASE AND OPERATION

Information was received from reliable sources that numbers of gang are indulging in theft of petroleum products from oil tankers in south west and adjoining Distts. These gangs in active connivance with drivers and helpers of tankers, take out 100-200 litres of petroleum products like petrol, diesel etc. from their tankers @ 25 rupees per liter diesel and sell it @ 32 rupees per litre in the market to various persons and factories. Acting on this information and modus operandi, local sources were deployed. On 23/04/2011 at about 3.00 PM five persons were caught red handed while taking out oil from tanker no. HR-69 6380 near Dwarka underpass. About 350 Liters of stolen diesel was recovered on the spot. Upon this, a case has been registered under relevant sections of law at Police Station Dwarka Sec-23 and investigation has been taken up.

INTERROGATION AND MODUS OPERANDI

On sustained interrogation of all the five persons, it was revealed that Dinesh Kumar @ Deenu, Ram Bhadur @ Bhadur, and Bijender are active partners of the gang, who take out oil from tankers @ 25 rupees of diesel per litre with connivance of driver and helper. They stock diesel in drums of 200 litre capacity and transport them in goods carrier i.e three wheelers at various places. The driver of above said tanker Shankar was having a master key, with help of which he had opened the lock of chambers of the tankers. There are only two keys of the gate wall of each tanker. One of the keys is supposed to be with Bharat Petroleum and other remains with consignee. All these three accused persons were operating for last 6/7 months. There are some other gangs who are operating in similar way. These gangs are also being identified. The place where these petroleum products were being sold are also been identified.

RECOVERY

1.  Tanker No. HR-69 6380 having about 19,500 ltrs. Of diesel.

2.  About 350 Liters of stolen diesel.

3.  Master Key

Further investigation of the case is in progress.

ATTEMPT TO MURDER CASE OF ASHOK VIHAR SOLVED

INTRODUCTION:-

With the arrest of (1) Shivender Pandey @ Pandit S/o Sriniwas R/o Gali No. 1, Vill.-Mukandpur, Delhi, (2) Dinesh @ Guddu S/o Ram Chander R/o N-28/B-295, CSA Colony, WPIA,Ashok Vihar, (3) Virender @ Kala S/o Berkhu Ram R/o D-145, Mozi wala bagh, lal bagh, Azadpur, Delhi and (4) Pushpender @ Parveen S/o Ram Parkash R/o N -77/A-293, Sawan Park, Delhi cold blooded attempt to murder committed during midnight of 20-21.4.11 is solved by the staff of PS. Ashok Vihar.

BRIEF FACTS:-

On 21.4.11, a PCR call regarding a man has been stabbed near railway line, Aara machine Chowk, WPIA was received at PS-Ashok Vihar. On the receipt of information, ASI Omapl Singh alongwith staff reached at the spot i.e. near railway line, Aara Machine Chowk, WPIA, where blood was found on the stones of railway line and the injured namely Rohit S/o Kalicharan R/o C-374, Lal Bagh, Azadpur, Delhi was taken by the PCR Van to the BJRM Hospital, Jahangirpuri, Delhi. Doctor stated on MLC that victim Rohit has been shot by gun. The patient was unfit for statement and later on was referred to JPN Hospital, Delhi Gate. The Patient is still unfit for statement.

INVESTIGATION:-

During the course of investigation a team under the supervision of Sh. R.C. Saini, ACP/Ashok Vihar was constituted. This team worked hard to nab the accused persons. During the course of interrogation, it was revealed that Rohit was called upon by Shivender Pandey, Virneder Kala and Pushpender @ Parveen from his house in the midnight. Rohit accompanied them as they were known to him. Accused Shivender Pandey was arrested after receiving of secret information on 24.4.11 he disclosed he has shot at Rohit with the help of his associates namely Virender, Pushpender & Dinesh. On the instance of accused Shivender Pandey, the 3 other accused namely Virneder @ Kala, Pushpender @ Parveen and Dinesh @ Guddu were arrested on 25.4.11.

MODUS OPERANDI:-

Accused persons called upon Rohit from his house and took him at railway line near CSA Colony, WPIA. There, they discussed about one girl (sister in law of Virender, Cousion of Pushpender). Rohit was in love with that girl and Virender and Pushpender objected to it. Accused Shivender Pandey was also in love with the same girl. He also wanted to remove Rohit from his way. Over this issue, Shivender Pandey and his associates shot at Rohit.

RECOVERY:-

Broken mobile phone of victim Rohit on the instance of accused Shivender and one purse with identity card of victim Rohit on the instance of Dinesh @ Guddu.

WEAPON OF OFFENCE:-

The country made pistol has been used by the accused to shot at the victim Rohit is yet to be recovered.
