Webster University and [partner school] have a strong tradition of working together. This relationship has resulted in benefits for many students, the community and both institutions. The Dual Admission Partnership Program (DAPP) makes it possible to be jointly admitted and enrolled at both Webster University and [partner school]. It provides students with opportunities to complete a baccalaureate degree more easily with access to resources at both Webster University and [partner school].

Students who participate in the DAPP will maximize credit transfer, enjoy access to resources at both institutions throughout both degree programs, and receive advising and support at Webster University and [partner school] as they pursue their associate and baccalaureate degrees.

[Partner school] students who fulfill the DAPP requirements and meet certain departmental requirements for specific majors are guaranteed acceptance into Webster University.

Webster University will host a Dual Admission Information session for all new DAPP participants at the [partner school] each semester.

Benefits of the Dual Admissions Program

●  Webster University application fees are waived.

●  You can be admitted to both Webster University and [partner school] at the same time.

●  You can take Webster University and [partner school] courses at times that may better meet your scheduling needs.

●  You will be assigned a Webster University advisor who will assist you in making the best academic choices to seamlessly complete your associate and baccalaureate degrees.

●  You can participate in student activities at both Webster University and [partner school].

●  You have access to student services, including computer labs and libraries, at both Webster University and [partner school].

●  You will be eligible for preferred registration at Webster University, having access before other new transfer students.

●  You will have preferred access to on-campus housing, before other new transfer students, based on availability.

●  You may participate in Webster University study abroad opportunities while completing your associate degree.

Eligibility Requirements

·  First-time college students who enroll at [partner school] and also meet Webster University first-time college student admission requirements will be eligible to participate in DAP.

·  Dual admission to Webster University and [partner school] is available to students planning to complete [list degrees] at [partner school] and a baccalaureate degree at Webster University.

·  Students may enroll in the program in any semester provided that they meet the requirements and have not completed more than 30 college credit hours or two semesters at [partner school].

·  New transfer students admitted to [partner school] also may participate provided they meet the following requirements:

o  Earned college-level credit with a 2.5 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale) and meet all other Webster University transfer admission requirements

o  Must submit a DAPP application to Webster University prior to completing 30 hours of college credit

Criteria for Maintaining Dual Admission Status

·  All students in the DAPP must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) based on all college-level work -- 100 level or above -- as calculated by the sending institution.

·  They also must maintain good academic standing as defined by each institution. A student who is dropped from the DAPP may continue at either institution if academically eligible to do so. When good standing is regained, the student may be reinstated to DAPP as long as he/she still is within the 30-credit-hour limit for participation.

·  Students must complete the appropriate transfer degree at [partner school] within four years of acceptance into the DAPP and enroll at Webster University within one academic semester following graduation from [partner school].

·  A student may end the dual admission agreement at any time before completion of the transfer associate degree at [partner school]. He/she will be expected to submit in writing to both institutions the decision to withdraw from the program. This student now will be subject to standard application and admissions procedures at Webster University.

What is the Dual Admission Program?

A Dual Admission Partnership Program offers students a seamless, structured, guaranteed pathway for attaining a baccalaureate degree. Through dual admission agreements, which provides one curriculum plan for earning an associate degree and a baccalaureate degree, students meeting designated criteria can be admitted to and enrolled at a partner institution and at the same time be admitted to Webster University.

Is the program open to anyone?

First-time college students who enroll at [partner school] and also meet Webster University’s first-time college student admission requirements are eligible to participate in DAPP right away.

Students who have previously matriculated at Webster University will not be eligible to participate.

Can international students apply for this program?

Yes. The Webster University domestic admissions criteria apply to admission for U.S. citizens and permanent resident aliens who attended high school in the United States (first-year students) and those with previous study in the United States (transfer students).

Admission for permanent resident aliens who attended high school outside the United States and international first-year students requires official transcripts showing successful completion of secondary school with a GPA of 2.0 or better. They also must have a minimum TOEFL score of 500 (paper-based, 173 computer-based, 61 Internet-based) or SAT/ACT (for permanent residents only).

Admission for permanent resident aliens transferring from universities outside the United States and international transfer students requires official transcripts showing a minimum 2.0 GPA from previous postsecondary coursework, the minimum TOEFL score of 500 (paper-based, 173 computer-based, 61 Internet-based) or SAT/ACT (for permanent residents only).

International applicants to [partner school] must fulfill admissions requirements.

Note about Immigration Documents: [Partner school] will be responsible for the initial I-20. Your I-20 will be transferred to Webster University when you start to take classes full time at Webster University.

Where do I apply?

General admission applications are available at both Webster University and [partner school]. Applications are also available online.

Application to the Dual Admission Partnership Program requires meeting with the [partner school] DAPP representative or Webster DAPP representative on your community college campus and completion of the Intent to Participate form.

What is the Intent to Participate form?

This is a contract that students who wish to participate in the DAPP must complete and submit. This document will be kept in your student file on both Webster University and [partner school] campuses. The Statement of Intent to Participate form also serves as a Release of Information that authorizes [partner school] and Webster University to share appropriate admissions, financial, academic and advising information concerning your enrollment and performance.

Who decides if I get admitted?

First-time and transfer applications must meet the criteria for both institutions. The criteria for each institution may differ. For complete information, please visit both institutions’ websites.

What student services will be available?

DAPP students will have access to all [partner school] student services including computer labs, libraries and career/employment services. DAPP students will have access to Webster computer labs, pool, fitness center, gymnasium, events, student activities, and on-site access at the Emerson Library. DAPP students will also receive a Webster University ID card which provides access the University buildings and events as well as select discounts at Webster community partner businesses.

What tuition do I pay?

Tuition and fees are published rates at the time of enrollment. [Partner school] tuition and fees will be assessed for [partner school] courses. Webster University tuition and fees are assessed for Webster courses. The rate may vary depending on your residency classification (district residents, other Missouri residents, out-of-state residents and international students) and the number of credit hours students enroll in.

How will I be billed? What are my payment options?

You will be billed by [partner school] for courses taken at [partner school]. You will be billed by Webster University for courses taken at Webster University. What scholarships are available to DAPP students?

What other financial aid is available?

You are eligible for the same aid programs available to all students. Availability is based on the date you complete the FAFSA application files and your eligibility status. DAPP students are expected to abide by the financial aid policies and procedures set by the campus evaluating and awarding financial aid.

Will I receive financial aid from both [partner school] and Webster University?

No. You can only receive financial aid at one institution for the term in which you are registered. Even though you may be dually enrolled, one institution will be designated the "home" institution and that institution will disburse your check.

Who decides which school is the "home" institution?

During your associate program, [partner school] will be your home institution. Once you transfer to Webster University, Webster will be your home institution.

How will my tuition be calculated?

You will be billed the appropriate published [partner school] and Webster University tuition and fees (based on residency status and enrollment). You will be billed separately by each school.

Can I use my Work Study from the "home school" at the other school?

Work Study awards are specific to the school that offers the award. They may not be transferred between schools.

The earnings from Work Study are spent at the discretion of the student.

Do I need to attend an orientation program at both STLCC and UMSL?

There will be a DAPP student orientation program at your [partner school] campus that you will be required to attend. It will be hosted jointly by Webster University and [partner school].

How and where do I register for classes?

You may register through the regular process for each institution.

As a new student to Webster University, you will be required to meet with an academic advisor to complete the registration process. Once enrolled you may conveniently register for future semesters in a variety of ways.

When do I register for courses?

As a DAPP student, you will follow the same registration procedure at [partner school] as other students. Should you decide to enroll at Webster University prior to transfer, you will be allowed to pre-register for Webster classes with other continuing students.

Am I eligible for housing at Webster University?

You are eligible for Webster University housing once you have completed your associate degree and formally transfer to Webster University. DAPP students will receive preferred access to on campus housing along with continuing students.

Will I need parking permits to park at [partner school] and Webster University?

Yes. You will need parking permits for both institutions.

How will I get between [partner school] and Webster University if I don't have a car?

Webster University is located on public transportation routes.

Where can I go to get help if I am having difficulty with my classes?

DAPP students have access to student academic support services at both [partner school] and Webster University, based on where classes are taken.
