Patient Group Meeting – Citizen UK Project
Wednesday 8th March 2017 – 6pm
Action Points:
Everyone attending health training on 11.03.17 to prepare a few word advertising Riverview patient group.
Kelly-Ann and Neneh to look into the possibility of repeating the training around the year, and adding different times/days to make it more convenient for different people.
Kelly-Ann and Neneh to email Riverview patient group and RSPH training group regarding future training opportunities.
Kelly-Ann to arrange further training opportunities with Citylink.
Grace and Rebecca to meet Kevin Godby at 11.30am on Wednesday 15th March for gardening consultation, to feedback at next meeting or via email.
Kelly-Ann to contact groundwork London regarding further funding for gardening project.
Everyone to think about the event on 22nd April and email ideas to Rebecca and Robert.
Grace to email John Fahy inviting him to the event on the 22nd and CC in Kelly-Ann
Rebecca to feedback on whether we can host the event in the garden area (will it be ready by then?)
Rayyan, Grace, Jibran, to feedback on outreach progress (Mosque, Church, School) for next meeting.
Grace + Eimar to possibly do outreach at church event on 11.03.17
Sue + Grace to discuss outreach/project promotion at Sue’s flats.
Group to allocate someone to keep in contact with all Riverview patient group members, remind them of meetings and confirm whether they are comingor not. Minutes:
RSPH Training Feedback:
•The training was excellent.
•All members of the Riverview Patient group attending the training will prepare something (2 minutes long) to say about the patient group, advertising it to the health traininggroup. (On 11.03.17)
•Kelly-Annand Nenehwill look into repeating the training year round, as well as adding additional dates/times (perhaps midweek training will be convenient forparents? The most convenient times for interested people need to be investigated.)
Volunteering in the community:
•There are further opportunities that will be advertised to both the Riverview Patient Group and the Health Training group, such as a Diabetes Health Champion projectand aCV Writing Workshop
• (Kelly-Ann + Nenehwill contact us via email regarding these opportunities.)
•Citylinkpossibly interested in doing some of these training workshops, Kelly-Annwill confirm with them, regarding possible convenient dates for those interested. If these training workshops are successful,we can look into repeating + expanding them.
Community Garden & The event in April:
•Community Gardener, KevenGodby, is unable to come to the event on the 22nddue to a coinciding ‘Big Dig event’, but will come to give an initial consultation for the garden.
Grace and Rebecca will go with Kevin at11.30amon15th Marchto the planned garden area around the practise, and he will give feedback regarding what we can do with it.
Grace or Rebeccato feedback on what he said either in the next meeting (22.03.17)or via email (preferably both).
Kelly-Ann will be contacting groundwork London regarding funding for the gardening project
Everyoneshould think about: What else we want to do on the 22nd April, what isthe purposeof the day, and who is coming.We should send our ideas to RebeccaRobert.

Additionally, we need to look at space: Where will the event be held, andwill the garden be clear by then (to do event there). Rebecca to feedback answering this question.

Tall ships festival April 13th - 16th is a possible opportunity for outreach in Greenwich.
Logistics:Someone to be allocated to confirm whether group members are coming and toremind them of meetings (especially whether Rob or Rebecca are coming). Same roles as this meeting for next meeting on22.03.17
(e.g. who is bringing food, who is charinge.t.c.). Roles will possibly be altered next meeting.
