Career Summary

In 1987, Ms. Williams began her real estate career with Century Development Corporation, one of Houston’s premier office building development firms, whose projects include Allen Center in Downtown Houston and the Greenway Plaza complex. She gained extensive experience working with the firm’s development, office leasing and construction departments. Her further background includes working for a major Houston-based commercial construction company and brings with her solid business experience with a bank holding company in the early 1990’s.

Experience

Mona Williams joined the Office Services Group at Grubb & Ellis in March of 1998 as a commercial office broker specializing in office building representation. She utilizes her strength and background in the commercial development and construction business to assure her clients that they have the most thoroughly analyzed and negotiated transaction possible.

Ms. Williams joined James Arket & Company, a real estate firm specializing in office client representation, in 1994 to utilize her skills to assist clients in tenant representation transactions. During her 18 year career, she has worked with many diversified companies such as oil and gas, computer software, engineering, medical and law firms and has been an asset to them coordinating their expansions, renewals, and relocations. Since James Arket & Company merged with Grubb & Ellis, Ms. Williams has continued her role in client representation as a member of the Arket team. One of her most recent transactions was the sale of a 42,000 square foot office building for a user client. She has participated in the negotiations for the consolidation of Verizon Wireless’ 256,000 square foot regional administrative and call center operations in Houston, as well as the relocation of PentaSafe Securities, Inc. and the regional office of Opus West Corporation.
