5.1. CLC 2014 / 2015 Program Announcements – Corrie

5.1.1.  We have invited Arenso Bakker a consultant from the Netherlands who spoke at the Hub Conference to conference call with us about his experience with helping develop

5.2. CLC Membership – Ben / Alex

5.3. CLC Website – Ben

5.3.1.  Halia has offered to contact a marketing consultant who is currently enrolled at MRU to assist us with the website refresh

5.3.2.  Ben will distribute the information current draft outline for the website which Martin developed.

5.3.3.  We have two proposals to assist us with website development

5.4. CLC Board Meeting update – next board meeting January 15, 2015 – Ben

5.5. High Wide Load issue – update – Jim Brown

5.5.1.  Significant progress has been made in addressing short term back log issues

5.5.2.  Workshop with operating groups to capture their concerns has been scheduled for December 18th

5.5.3.  Another workshop will be held in January to begin developing a playbook to support ongoing requirements for permitting and movement of over dimensional loads

6.1. Cargo Logistics Canada conference – Jan. 28-29, 2015 – CLC role and participation

7.1. Christos – CBE is continuing to develop opportunities for more experiential learning for its students involved in the career and technologies studies programs

7.2. Martin – in January conducting a supply chain audit in two countries

7.3. Halia – exchange program with Brazilian university has received some funding for students to participate - Martin and Joceli are assisting with an introductory seminar

7.4. David Overland – sees an opportunity for Trimac to have further conversations with CBE and their programs

7.5. Brendan – next phase of Linking Up project targeting post secondary students and they are developing a new promotional video

7.6. Peter – WISC event Jan. 14, March – WestJet, May – Port Metro

7.7. Joceli – Linking Up – engaging next group of participants – planning to attend Cargo Logistics Conference

7.8. Jean-Marc – will attend the Cargo Logistics Conference

7.9. David – attending Cargo Logistics Conference – also acknowledged the recent successful media tour organized by Tom Dixon and CED
