Dear Fairview Neighbors,

I have had the privilege of representing you on our Town Council for the past six years. I am now term limited off the Council effective May 31 and I want to share with you about the person who I think is best qualified to take my place – Pam Little.

Almost all of the new development that is going to take place in Fairview will take place on the west side of Town in our CPDD.New roads, new commercial development, replacing the old fire station #1, expansion of our trails, expansion of our sewer system, and improvements to our water distribution system will occur on this side of Fairview. It is important that we continue to have Council members who live in this area to make sure that the residents on this side of Town are represented by someone who lives there.Pam lives in the Vineyards – a neighborhood just off Hwy 5 that borders the CPDD.

Pam also lives within the McKinney School District part of Fairview. The Council has spent the last six years working to improve communications and visibility with the MISD staff and Board. Pam already has strong relationships with the MISD and regularly volunteers in one of the MISD elementary schools.

It is extremely important that Fairview be represented in various political and service groups outside of our Town. Pam is highly networked into numerous Collin County wide political and service groups. She has close relationships with the elected officials at the county level and those who represent us in Austin and in Washington DC. She knows our local School Board representatives as well as the City Council folks from our neighboring cities of Allen and McKinney as well as Plano, Frisco, and others. These relationships are so important when money is being divided up for road projects, when the Town is trying to deal with issues such as flood relief that only federal monies can ultimately fix, dealing with water supply issues which are usually handled at the state level, and other issues that the Town is impacted by but has very little say in dealing with.

Finally, Pam has a servant’s heart. Pam is the President of the Samaritan Inn Board, is a member of our new Fairview Rotary Club, has served on the Allen-Fairview Chamber Board, currently serves on the Fairview Economic Development Corporation Board, and Pam and her husband are two of the most generous people that I know helping to fund multiple scholarships for our youth, helping to protect animals through SPCA, serving the First United Methodist Church in McKinney, and supporting the Collin County Boys and Girls Clubs.

Please join me and my friends listed below in voting for Pam Little for Fairview Town Council place 4.
