Arkansas School Boards Association Members

Go to

Click on the Create new account button.

Create a username and password. Please do not use an email address as your username. Choose a professional username (first initial and last name or last name and first initial) as this username may appear on professional documents.

Fill in your information.

Check the box to identify yourself as an ASBA member.

Click Choose Organization

Click the addition symbol to expand the list. Select Arkansas School Boards

Association.

Read the policy agreement from the blue link, and then click in the box next to “I understand and agree.”

Enter the words from the CAPTCHA in the box provided.

Click the Create my new account button. Once you click Create my new account, the system will auto generate an email that will be sent to the email address provided.

If you click the Create my new account button and receive an error message similar to the ones listed below, please contact our help desk at 1-800-488-6689 or email .

The system will automatically send an email similar to the one below. Follow the instructions provided in this email to verify your account.

Note: The email may be in a Spam/Bulk folder.

After you have verified your email address, the system will automaticallyreturn to the home page on the ArkansasIDEAS website.

Note: Once an account is created, there may be a five-minute delay before courses are visible.

To start a course, click on the Find Learning tab at the top of the Dashboard and then click on Courses.

Use the Search by box or click on the blue course link to access a course.

Click on the Enroll me button.

Explore the resources associated with the course, and then begin the lessons. Watch each lesson’s video and complete its accompanying assessment.If the lesson does not have an assessment, then proceed to the next lesson.

Note: The system will not let you jump ahead; therefore, you must complete each lesson in the correct numerical order.

If you are unable to complete the course and its lessons at one time and need to return later, then you will be able to access it again by clicking on the Record of Learning tab.

Then, click on the blue course link.

After you have completed all of the lessons and assessments, complete the Survey.

Once ASBA releases your certificate, you will be able to print it from the course’s homepage. Click the Certificate link that is visible in the course.

Note: The Arkansas School Boards Association is responsible for awarding professional development credit for ASBA courses and will decide when the certificate will be available.

Click Get your certificate. It will open in a pop-up window.

The system will allow a certificate to be printed from this screen.
