Educational Policy Studies

Research & Scholarship Committee

Invites you to the

Educational Policy Studies Research Day

on

Tuesday, April 25, 2006

This will be a celebration of the diverse research interests of faculty members and graduate students from the specialization areas of Adult Education, Educational Administration and Leadership, Indigenous Peoples Education, and Theoretical, Cultural, and International Studies in Education.

We would like to invite all interested students, sessionals, and faculty to participate in either presenting a poster or paper. The purpose is to share research in progress as well as completed work.

There are several ways in which you can participate:

(1) Present a paper,

(2) Develop a research poster for display, and

(3) Create a display of your completed research and/or works-in-progress utilizing a 3-fold display board and/or a lap top computer.

Please email Trish Graham [ with your preferred method of participation by March17th, 2006. If needed, the department will provide tri-fold display boards to all interested participants. As well, the department will reimburse students up to $25.00 for a poster that is produced for this event (please submit your printing receipt).

Participation in this event is an important way to showcase your research to a wide variety of prominent educational stakeholders. Last year’s event was attended by representatives from across the University of Alberta, Ministry of Education, Alberta Teachers’ Association, and a wide variety of school districts, and other important educational interest groups. Thank you to everyone who made last year’s event such a phenomenal success!
