It combines many popular stress-reducing techniques, including exercise and learning to control the breath, clear the mind, and relax the body.
Stress - is the feeling you get when you're worrying about a big test or when your parents are arguing. Sometimes, you'll feel butterflies in your stomach, sweaty hands, or have trouble sleeping. Exercising or talking about your feelings can help.

(25 min) / Yoga Instructions: Explain to students: Just like adults, even children can be under a lot of stress. The numerous school activities, peer-pressure, and homework can cause kids to feel some stress. Teaching Yoga to children can help them develop better body awareness, self-control, flexibility, and coordination. Such skills can even be carried beyond class and into their daily routines.
One of the goals of yoga is to achieve balance between the mind, body and soul and children can benefit from achieving this balance as well as adults. With testing stress, busy parents and competitive sports, children are subject to many pressures. Many schools have begun to use yoga and their students have experienced the benefits

Learning Moment/Teachback Q’s (5 min): “Could you do Yoga poses on your own? Do you think that yoga can help you with test taking at school? Why?” “Do you feel that Yoga can benefit you in your personal life? How? and in with school? how?”
Reflection Journal Question (10 min): “Write down the times in which you feel as though you might do yoga as a stress reliever?”
Begin writing script:
Have a short reflection period to think back over the last six weeks. Remind them the ultimate goal is to have a video with solid information where others could learn about the importance of health and wellness. Discuss anything that is already filmed such as the trail mix activity or any physical fitness stuff. Then get them starting on a script and brain storming! Break them up into groups based on their positions. Have some groups work on coming up with a script and the other groups come up with a list of materials they will need for the next week to make props.
