Get Fit Get Healthy Challenge: Kilglass Gaels Get Fit Get Healthy Challenge came to a conclusion on Friday 17th April. Well done to all who took part. Thanks to Annette Rogers John Russell for all their help during the 8 week programme, thanks to our main sponsors Dr. Eugene Hardiman and Dr. Annette Rogers, to Elizabeth Durkan and Brian Hall who served a beautiful meal to all participants on the final night. To all who sponsored prizes for the participants raffle and to Paul Diffley and Johnny Reynolds of Gallaghers Bakery who donated a special health bread pack to all participants on the final night, all those who took circuit training sessions and all who came on a weekly basis to give talks on health nutrition and diabetes, to the hard working committee who worked tirelessly for 10 weeks, thanks a million to each and everyone of you!

Trad Night: A great night of song and dance was held in Kilglass Gaels clubrooms on Friday night last. A special word of thanks to all musicians who took part and made it a great occasion. RENOVATIONS- OUR LADY OF MOUNT CARMEL: Thanks to the generosity of parishioners, the commitment of the Rooskey Church Renovation Committees and the sanctioning of an €80,000 loan from the Elphin Diocesan Building Fund, renovation works are now planned to start on 5thMay and will continue for at least 3 months. Frank McKiernan & Sons Longford have been appointed to carry out the works during which time Sunday Mass will take place in Rooskey Community Centre. Sincere thanks to all for their help and cooperation.
