REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS / QUALIFICATIONS FOR ICE SHEET & PLANT ENGINEERING
PROPOSALS FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE DESIGN OF A NEW ICE SHEET AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT FOR THE RINKare being requested starting Wednesday, January 17th, 2018 and received until 3:00 p.m. (CST) Thursday, January 31st,2018at the Owner’s office,at which time they will be privately opened by the Owner. Written proposals will be receivedin duplicate. Proposals can be submitted on the Engineer’s standard forms. The successful Engineers will work with the Owner & Owner’s rep to determine a scope of work and establish the design. That design will then be put out for construction bids. A separate scope of work for HVAC, dehumidification and other associated work will be requested at another time. THIS IS FOR THE ICE SHEET AND RELATED EQUIPMENT ONLY.

Proposals must be from licensed Engineers and conform to all governing laws of the STATE OF MINNESOTA and all applicable Federal and State Laws.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or parts thereof, to waive any informalities in the process and to award the contract to other than the lowest proposal if, in the discretion of the Owner, the interest of the Owner will be best served thereby. THE OWNER REQUIRES THAT ALL PROPOSALS BE FIRM FOR THIRTY (30) DAYS FROM THE DATE OF OPENING.
A NOTICE TO PROCEED WILL BE GIVEN WITHIN 2 WEEKS. THE DESIGN PROJECT IS TO BE COMPLETED WITHIN 4 WEEKS OF THE NOTICE TO PROCEED.
