ART/DRAWING CONTEST
ATHLETES FOR CHARITY and OSI UMENYIORA of the ATLANTA FALCONS are excited to host a drawing contest for the students at Bunche Middle School. Osi Umenyiora does not like bullying and needs your help to stop it from happening in schools!
Bullying is a form of aggressive behavior in which someone intentionally and repeatedly causes another person injury or discomfort. Bullying can take the form of physical contact, words or more subtle actions.
The bullied individual typically has trouble defending him or herself and does nothing to “cause” the bullying. Bullying includes actions such as making threats, spreading rumors, attacking someone physically, verbally harassing by teasing or making fun of them, and can also include excluding someone from a group on purpose.
We would like you to draw a picture of Osi Umenyiora, yourself and your friends as super heroes who are fighting bullying with your words and not with your fists. You are encouraged to be as creative as you want but must adhere to the instructions listed below. Turn in one entry to your teachers by Friday, October 18, 2013 for a chance to win an opportunity to attend the 11/10 Falcons v. Seahawks game and other prizes. Only one student will be selected to receive the top prize selection. 10 Runner Ups will receive a Falcons “Rise Up” T-shirt and other prizes. Winners will be selected by Athletes for Charity based on creativity and adherence to the instructions.
INSTRUCTIONS:
· On an 8.5 x 11 size sheet of paper draw a picture of you and your friends with OSI UMENYIORA of the ATLANTA FALCONS. Be sure to draw Osi in his Falcons uniform and include his jersey #50.
· Include the following words in your drawing: Osi Umenyiora #50

· You can look up pictures of Osi Umenyiora at www.osiumenyiora.com or at www.atlantafalcons.com.
· ON THE BACK of your drawing please include the following information: (1) first and last name,
(2) grade/class, and (3) age. DO NOT PUT YOUR NAME ON THE FRONT OF YOUR DRAWING.
· You must submit your drawings to your teachers. DEADLINE is Friday, October 18, 2013.
Winners will be announced on Friday, November 1, 2013.
