¯I’m a professional face painter and I love to see your children Smile. I follow a strict code of practice to ensure they are happy and to help keep them safe.

¯I only use high quality professional face paints products that are EC and FDA approved and cosmetic grade glitter. In addition to those safe - guards, you can rest assured that I work to a very high standard of safe and hygienic practice, with lots of common sense thrown in for good measure!

¯For safety reasons, I do NOT paint anyone who appears to be sick or suffering from cold sore, conjunctivitis, rashes, chicken pox, infections skin conditions, eczema or open wounds.

¯I do not paint children under the age of 3.

¯If you or your child has very sensitive skin then face painting or Glitter Tattoos may cause irritation. A skin patch test can be carried out to check this. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to inform me of any skin sensitivity in advance of any painting or glitter tattooing as I will not be held responsible for any allergic reactions that may occur.

¯Water based face paints are very easy to remove and come off easily with warm soap water and a face cloth. Some strong pigments may still be present after washing, so a second wash using a flannel may be needed. Glitter Tattoo is 100% toxic free and safe for the skin! It is not suitable for anyone who suffers from allergies to latex or sticking plasters. Should you wish to remove your Glitter Tattoo simply use baby oil or any oil based lotion. Let it soak for 5 minutes before you scrub and remove. I DO NOT recommend baby wipes are used to remove face paints.

¯If your child doesn't like their face painted I'm happy to paint a design on their arm or leg instead.

¯To ensure that health and hygiene standards are maintained, we ask that our products remain untouched by anyone other than the members of the team. Please ensure that children are supervised at all times.

¯At private events/parties, it is the responsibility of the organiser to ensure that the permission of parents/guardians is obtained prior to children being painted.

¯We cannot take responsibility for the welfare or safety of persons waiting to be painted. Please ensure that children waiting to be painted are supervised at all times.

¯We will not paint any person (regardless of age) against their wishes – including sleeping children.

¯We will not paint anything that the artist deems to be offensive, obscene and/or inappropriate for the event or group.

¯Please do not eat or drink whilst being painted.

¯Verbal or physical abuse will not be tolerated.

¯All persons wishing to be painted must be presented with a clean, dry face.

¯Once the queue has been closed, no-one else will be painted.

¯All in all I want your child to be happy and safe, face painting is fun so please be mindful I like to advise you correctly to ensure this is so.

Many thanks Helen
