Dear Libby:

We look forward to welcoming you, your family, friends and colleagues to Tampa, FL, October 23 to 25, 2015.Please mark your calendar and pass the news to everyone planning to attend.

You must arrive in Tampa on Friday, October 23, for an Inductee Briefing at 5 p.m. sharp that afternoon. Attendance, along with your induction partner (which will be explained later).

The Friday briefing will explain he Candy Hall of Fame weekend, which culminates in a glittering black-tie event complete with closed-circuit cameras, giant screens and triumphant entrances when you will be announced to hundreds of guests, make a spotlighted entry and be seated at a raised top table, facing the attendees.

An audio/visual presentation of your life and career achievements will be presented using pictures from your family album and information from your biographical details form, and you will be asked to say a few words to mark the occasion. The whole event is tightly choreographed and there will be a dress rehearsal on Saturday so everybody knows what to do and when.

As you can imagine, such a spectacular event forms a life-long memory and many inductees later confess they should have invited more family and friends. With that in mind, please make sure everyone has the date blocked, hotel reservation and registration forms are forthcoming.

In the meantime, you have immediate responsibilities, and please note that failure to meet deadlines could cost you your induction slot — deadlines must be kept.

For immediate action:
