Handwriting Without Tears
We are excited about our curriculum for our 3-year-olds, called “Handwriting Without Tears.” The program has developmentally appropriate materials and activities that help children to play, build, color, and learn while developing important skills, such as: language proficiency, fine and gross motor control, shapes, colors, letter and number recognition, etc. We feel this approach will allow your child’s confidence to grow, making learning fun as we build on skills learned each week. We will introduce a new letter each week, as follows:

The workbook’s pages cannot be torn out so we will not be able to send your child’s work home each week. We invite you to drop by to check your child’s progress anytime. We look forward to a full year of learning and fun!
An additional weekly part of our curriculum is our Weekly Reader. We typically discuss the subject matter and complete the work page on Fridays. We may not always complete the work page when other activities intervene. You may wish to discuss this page with your child as “homework.”
