OFFICIAL DEPARTMENT OF THE ARMY (DA) PHOTOGRAPHS
An official Department of the Army (DA) photo appointment must be SCHEDULED and VERIFIED- Unfortunately there are NO WALK-INS. A Work Order will then need to be submitted to finalize your appointment. Instructions to complete the Work Order will be sent to your email.
DA photos are only taken on Tuesdays from 0900-1100 (in 15 minute increments) and are approximately 15 minutes in length.

Parking is metered around the facility, so plan accordingly. Enter in front doors of the Cedar Street Armory and walk straight onto the drill floor. Go to the back left corner doors and take a right, enter the doors into the hallway and take a left into the first room:
Room 108/Public Affairs.
The studio is in a different location than our office so we are not available by our office telephone during and around studio hours on Tuesdays. If you are running late, or if you need to contact us around your arrival time please call the DA photo cell 651-260-6058.

It is our commitment to you to take the best DA photo possible. The photo will be uploaded into DAPMIS the same day it is taken. It will appear in your AKO account almost immediately. In your AKO you can approve the photo to help the process go along faster. If you disapprove the photo we ask that you call or email us so we can see if we can fix it. After your photo is approved it will be completed in DAPMIS and uploaded into IPERMS. We cannot reproduce or email DA photos until they are completed by DAPMIS.
Any missed or late appointments without proper notification of 24 hours are subject to be rescheduled and it may take up to 1 month before you can retake the photograph.
Restrooms are available for changing and can be found through signs posted on the drill floor. There also is a male locker room available located near the DA photo studio.
Please ensure that your uniforms are in accordance with regulation. Class A’s or Dress Blues are both allowed. If you are early, please go ahead and get changed and ensure that you are ready for your photograph to be taken at the time it was scheduled for. It is your responsibility to have your ribbons and name tag aligned properly because we are not allowed to adjust them for you. Also note the photo is taken from two inches below the hands, therefore a part of the pants will be seen.
