LAW ENFORCEMENT’S APPROACH TO BULLYING

Participants will receive instruction for K-12 bullying programs designed by Michigan’s Law Enforcement Bullying Task Force that covers awareness, prevention and response. Participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences related to bullying and discuss techniques that have been effective.
As a participant you will receive:
· A Bullying Curriculum Toolkit which includes the State of Michigan Policies on Bullying, K-12 grade curriculum for presentations, Pre and Post test evaluations, Parenting/Bystander information, Class Pledges, Michigan Laws relating to bullying and violence, and more…
· The book My Secret Bully by Trudy Ludwig to use as a presentation tool
· M.C.O.L.E.S. certification pending
Speakers include:
· Glenn R. Stutzky, M.S.W., MSU, School of Social Work, national leader in bullying prevention and fighting violence in schools and communities
