BOOTZEE DIRECTIONS

What You Need to Play: 5 dice, scorecards

Object of the Game: Dotsy is similar to Yahtzee; the object of the game is to roll the dice for scoring combinations. The highest score wins!

Game Summary: The game can be played in solitary or in a group. When playing in a group the highest score wins. The game consists of 10 rounds. In each round you roll the dice and score the roll on one of 9 categories. For each category you must satisfy the logic expression on the scorecard. Each category has a certain score; if you satisfy that category then you score the number of points for that category. By the end of the game you must put a score in each category so you may have to score a 0 in some categories. The object of the game is to maximize your total score!

How to Play: Each player has a scorecard. To decide who goes first each player rolls 1 die, the highest score goes first. In the event of a tie, the tied pair re-rolls until there is a winner. Play passes to the left.

Taking your turn. Roll all five dice to start your turn. You can roll the dice a total of three times during your turn. After your initial roll, you can either enter a score in your score car or re-roll any or all of your five dice to get a higher score. After rolling your dice three times you must score the roll based on the scores provided on the Score Card. If your dice do not match any available category, you MUST enter a zero for an available category. You try to put the score next.

Scoring: When you finish rolling the dice, you must score your round based on the categories on the scorecard. If any expression on the scorecard is satisfied, the player earns the points associated with that category. Each category can only be earned once during the game. If you cannot earn any category during that round, you must put a zero in a category you have not earned yet.

Ending the game: The game is over after 9 rounds (the scorecard should be filled). The winner is the player with the highest score.
