End of Year Newsletter

March/April/May 2016

A Message from Mr. Gregory …

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Now that we have returned from spring break, the end of the school year is upon us. The information contained in this newsletter will help students and their families prepare for the end of the year.

The fourth marking period has just begun. It is important that students keep up to date with assignments and all school work as they prepare for the close of the school year. These grades have a big impact on the transcript and they determine eligibility for the first quarter of the next school year.

There has been a change to final exams this semester. This is the last year that students will be taking final exams in classes. Students taking the HSA exams and the PARCC assessments will not have a final exam this semester. Instead, they will have a project or assessment.

As of the printing of this newsletter, I do not have information about the impact the blizzard will have on the end of the school year. Some dates in this newsletter may change if the school year is extended. Wishing you a good end to the 2015-2016 school year.

Looking forward to a great end to the school year!
