GENERAL INSTRUCTION

Walk-in-interview will be conducted atINDIA GOVERNMENT MINT, I.D.A.,PHASE.II, CHERLAPALLY, HYDERABAD-500 051 for engagementof FULL TIME MEDICAL OFFICER.- on contract basis for a period of 2 (two) years.

1. Monthly Remuneration of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty five thousandonly)for experience upto 5 years or Rs.30,000/-(Rupees Thirty thousand only) for more than 5 years experience consolidated (all inclusive) will be paid subject to recovery of applicable taxes. The daily rate of proportionate deduction from remuneration in the event of absence beyond permissible holidays/leave will be made.

2. Posting of the Doctor, so appointed will be at India Government Mint, IDA, Phase.II, Cherlapally, Hyderabad-500 051. The Medical Officer will be reporting to the General Manager, India Government Mint, Hyderabad and he will attend to the industrial employees, Office Staff, Security Staff and Officers/Executives during his duty hours as and when required.

3. Educational Qualification: M.B.B.S. Doctors having experience upto 5 years or more than 5 years of Post-Specialization experience.

4. Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years as on Date of Interview (Rules Governing Relaxation for SC/ST/ and certain other categories as notified by Government of India).

5. The prescribed qualification, age limit etc., shall be reckoned as on 03.06.2011.

6. The full time Contract Medical Practitioner who enter in contract with Unit will not have any claim or any right for continuity in service or automatic extension of term of contract.

7. During the validity of contract, the Contract Medical Practitioner will be at liberty to terminate the contract for betterment of his/her career or any other grounds by giving one month’s notice to the SPMCIL Unit, Hyderabad.

The contract can also be terminated by the Administration at any time during the contract by giving one month’s notice without assigning any reason whatsoever. Contract shall also be terminated if the Contract Medical Practitioner is found to be mentally or physically incapacitated.

8. Aspirants intending to join as Medical Officer should attend the interview with the original and attested copies of certificates mentioned below:

(i). Proof of Age. (ii) Proof of passing MBBS and MD/DNB/Equivalent Degree in General Medicine and Edcuational certificates. (iii) Registration with Indian Medical Council. (iv) Proof of Caste: SC/ST/OBC- only Central Government prescribed format accepted. (v) Mark-sheets of MBBS and MD/DNB/Equivalent Degree in General Medicine Examinations. (vi) Certificates of Experience. (vii) Photo to be pasted on Application form.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF APPOINTMENT (CONTRACT BASIS) FOR THE POST OF MEDICAL OFFICER.

1. The tenure of your appointment will be for a period of Two (2) years on earlier with effect from the date of joining. The tenure of your services would automatically end on the expiry of aforesaid term unless extended by the Company.

2. You have to produce a Medical fitness certificate from the authorized/Govt.Medical Officer at the time of joning.

3. You will be posted to work at Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited Units at Hyderabad.

4. You will have to work under the direct Control/Guidance/Orders/Supervision of Works Manager/Senior Works Manager/Dy.General Manager/General Manager. Communication regarding your duties and responsibilities will be issued separately.

5. You will follow all Security Rules is force in the Mint.

6. You will be required to work in accordance with the timings observed by this Mint. Holidays applicable to you will be the same as applicable to the Mint employees.

7. You will be paid a Consolidated Compensation of Rs.25,000/-(Rupees Twenty five thousand only) per month (all inclusive) for experience upto 5 years Or Rs.30,000/-(Rupees Thirty Thousand only) per month (all inclusive) for more than 5 years experience.

8. Absence during the month, other than the authorized leave, will not be reckoned for the purpose of payment of Compensation. Deduction will be made on the pro-rata basis on the number of days in that month.

9. The income tax as applicable will be deducted at source from the payment made to you.

10.You will be entitled for paid leave of one day for every 20 days of work including weekly holidays and other applicable holidays. The leave may be availed with the prior approval of the controlling officers only after it actually becomes due and not in advance/anticipation.

11. During the tenure of this engagement, you will wholly devote yourself to work assigned to you and will not undertake any other employment either on full or part time basis. Any violations of the condition will entail immediate termination of your services not withstanding clause 14 below.

12. You will have to give a declaration that there is nothing adverse against you either presently or in the past which would disqualify you for being engaged in service. Following shall constitute disqualification for appointment:-

* Insolvency.

* Pendency of investigation/trial in relation to a

criminal offence.

* Conviction by Court of Law for criminal offence.

* Dismisal/termination from the services in your previous

employment(s) pursuant to disciplinary action.

13. You will maintain absolute secrecy and confidentiality in matters relating to the official documents and/or information which you acquire during the tenure. You shall at all times during your tenure should maintain absolute integrity, discipline, and devotion to duty and do nothing against the interest of SPMCIL. Any contravention to this condition will entail immediate termination of your engagement notwithstanding clause 14 below.

14. Your performance will be reviewed periodically to ensure completion of assignment(s) entrusted to you. In the event of performance being unsatisfactory, your services are liable to be terminated without any notice and/or without assigning any reason thereof notwithstanding clause 15 below.

15. Management has the right to termination your services by giving one month’s notice or by giving one month’s,consolidated compensation in lieu of such notice during your tenure.

Similary, if you wish to foreclose your tenure, you can do so by giving one month’s notice in writing or by depositing one month’s Consolidated Compensation in lieu of such notice.

16. Transport allowance will be deducted from the monthly compensation in case you use the transport provided by Mint for attending to the duty from your residence to Mint and vice versa.

17. Any other matter regarding your engagement not dealt with herein shall be governed at the sole discretion/decision of the management which will be binding on you.

18. If the above terms and conditionsare acceptable in to you may communicate your acceptance by signing the duplicate copy of this offer and report for duty on or before______.

GENERAL CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT APPOINTMENT

1. TERMS OF APPOINTMENT

1.1. This appointment is purely temporary and on

contract basis.

1.2.  This appointment will remain valid for a period of ______from the date of joining of the Appointee.

1.3.  This appointment will terminate automatically on the date of its expiry. No notice shall be given for the termination.

1.4.  This appointment will be considered for renewal, after its expiry on satisfactory performance, only at the option of SPMCIL.

1.5.  This appointment may also be terminated by either side by giving one month’s of advance notice or on payment of compensation equivalent to one month’s salary in lieu of advance notice, without assigning any reasons thereof.

2. APPLICATION OF RULES OF THE COMPANY

2.1 The contract appointee will be subjected to

the rules of the Company as amended from

time to time in respect of service

conditions not provided explicitly in

this contract Agreement.

3. GENERAL PROVISIONS

3.1 This contract constitutes the entire agreement between the parties. In the event of any part of this agreement being declared or rendered invalid by the court decision, the remaining provisions of the agreement shall remain in full force and effect.

3.2  Infringement of any of the rules of the Company or of the terms of his/her contract

Appointment or disobedience of orders or negligence of duties assigned to the Appointee will lead to termination of the

contract appointment without giving any

notice in advance.

3.3. The contract appointee shall faithfully

serve the Company, obey its lawful commands and shall not divulge its business

secrets not only during the period of

contract but also thereafter.

3.4  The contract appointee shall be at the disposal of the Company for the whole time. He shall not carry on or be concerned, directly or indirectly, with any other business or occupation, what-so-ever.

3.5  The appointee is required to work for full time on all Working days. For any extra hour of work or for the work on holidays and Sundays, he/she shall not be entitled to receive any overtime remuneration or for any compensatory time off.

4. SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT APPOINTMENT.

4.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of the

Appointee shall be those set forth in the

Appendix appended hereto, which forms

a part of this agreement. The duties and

responsibilities shall be carried out in

accordance with the company’s policies,

procedures, and Rules, circulars, orders

of the management.

5. COMPENSATION

5.1 The Appointee will be paid a consolidated

Compensation (all inclusive) of Rs.25,000/-

(Rupees Twenty five thousand only) per onth

(experience upto 5 years) Or Rs.30,000/-

(Rupees Thirty thousand only) per month

consolidated (all inclusive)(more than 5

years experience) during the period of

contract appointment.

5.2  Deduction of Income Tax at source.Applicable taxes shall be deducated at source as per the rules existing from time to time. This employment contract is not effective until the appointee has completed all formalities and joined his/her duty. After his/her joining, he/she will be given an oficial designation.

5.3. Transport allowance will be deducted

from the monthly compensation in case he/she

use the transport provided by Mint for

attending to the duty from her/his residence

to Mint and vice versa.
