Welcome to the last full week of the 2015-2016 school year, this is Dr. Crowther with announcements for the week of May 23, 2016.

First, a huge congratulations to the soccer teams for fantastic seasons. The girls finished second to Rosemont, while the boys won the league! Speaking of soccer, our coaching staff will head the inaugural “Storm Chasers Soccer Camp” for students going into 6th, 7th or 8th grade June 13-16 on Toll’s field. (There is also a camp for elementary age kids July 11-14. Check out the flyer in the box below.) The cost is $150 and includes 20 hours of training by an amazing staff, t-shirt, new soccer ball and a copy of the book, “The Kicks” by Alex Morgan. More information can be found in our e-bulletin. Sign-up before spaces sell-out as spots are limited.

A reminder, the window for promotion appeals has come and gone and no last minute appeals will be heard. Students on the non-promote list for grades or citizenship marks at the 15-week mark, must have earned their way off the non-promote list by bringing these marks up by the conclusion of our final exams. Additionally, there are no grounds an appeal for citizenship marks will be honored as appeals are supposed to be reserved for extenuating circumstances.

This Wednesday Toll is hosting both its ELD awards at 5:30 p.m. and 8th grade awards at 6:30 p.m. Those being recognized received notice last week; we hope they will have support in the crowd on this special evening.

On Thursday, 8th graders are attending the Magic Mountain Field Trip. Have fun, be safe and finish Toll with one more memory!

June 1 is our promotion ceremony for 8th graders. Please note the ceremony begins at 8:30 a.m. sharp. Each student will receive two complimentary tickets when they receive their gowns and their medallions. Additional tickets can be purchased for $10 each in the ASB Clerk’s office. There are still a handful of reserved seats with VIP parking available through the administration office. Two-tickets with parking can be purchased for $40.

Also, June 1 is a late start for 6th and 7th graders. Students should report to Toll at 10:30 a.m. This is scheduled to allow all teachers and siblings to attend the promotion event.
