Principal’s Summary:
We had a great turnout to the District Science Fair held at Copper Basin last month. Students will be defending their projects at the Phoenix Convention Center April 2nd. We have students participating from across the District, and wish the best to all the particants. During Spring Break we prepared the testing booklets for the AIMS/Sat 10 testing, scheduled students for credit recovery, and prepared for our academic Awards Assemblies scheduled for April 11th. Our students had a wonderful time on the 6th grade San Diego Trip despite the snow, hail and rain! We have completed all of the formal evaluations and have 5 unannouced evaluations to complete. We will continue with our daily walkthroughs in each classroom throughout the remainder of the school year. We are continuing our weekly TAP cluster meetings and have spent a significant amount of time reviewing our goals, reviewing data, and implementing field testing. Field testing strategies will be implemented this month.
