*If you get home and you still do not understand the assignment – Research the topic online!

If you still cannot complete the assignment, you will need to turn in “chandler currency” and then make arrangements to come in during tutorials. The assignment is still due.

Canton Jr High Late Work policy will be followed.

4.TESTS:Test dates are given in advance and reviews are available in advance. If you are absent the day before a test, you will still be expected to take the test on the scheduled date. Test re-take policy on separate page. Test Reviews and answer keys are available a week in advance.

5.ABSENCES: It is your responsibility to get your make-up work, make sure you know the material, and turn in assignments when you are absent. Make-up work that is not turned in at the appropriate time will result in a zero.

6.EXTRA HELP: Tutorials are available each day during 8th period.

7.EXTRA CREDIT: I do not provide extra credit. You will be given your grades weekly – if you realize you are in danger of failing during the 9 weeks you will need to come in and get extra help so that you can raise your grade on the next test. There is no excuse for you to “panic” the week before report cards.

*I do award extra test points, 2 points a week, if agendas are filled out correctly.

*You also get a 100 daily grade each week that you turn in your completed focus paper.

*You can earn a 100 daily grade for all completed test reviews.

* You will be quiet and allow others to have a distraction-free place to learn and study.

* You are required to learn and make sure you understand all material covered in class.

*You will take notes and work example problems while I am teaching the lesson.

*You will use this time to ask questions when you don’t understand a concept.
