Frosty the Snow Man

Frosty the Snow Man was a jolly happy soul

With a corncob pipe and a button nose and two eyes made out of coal

Frosty the Snow Man is a fairy tale, they say;

He was made of snow, but the children know how he came to life one day.

There must have been some magic in that old silk hat they found.

For when they placed it on his head, he began to dance around.

Oh, Frosty the Snow Man was alive as he could be.

And the children say he could laugh and play just the same as you and me.

Frosty the Snow Man knew the sun was hot that day,

So he said, “Let's run and we'll have some fun now before I melt away.”

Down to the village with a broomstick in his hand;

Running here and there all around the square, sayin', “Catch me if you can.”

He led them down the streets of town right to the traffic cop,

And he only paused a moment when he heard him holler, “Stop!”

Oh, Frosty the Snow Man had to hurry on his way,

But he waved goodbye, sayin', “Don't you cry; I'll be back again someday.”

Thumpety-thump-thump, thumpety-thump-thump,

Look at Frosty go.

Thumpety-thump-thump, thumpety-thump-thump,

Over the hills of snow.

Jingle Bell Rock

Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock,

Jingle bells swing and jingle bells ring.

Snowin' and blowin' up bushels of fun,

Now the jingle hop has begun.

Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock.

Jingle bells chime in jingle bell time.

Dancin' and prancin' in Jingle Bell Square

In the frosty air.

What a bright time; It's the right time

To rock the night away.

Jingle bell time is a swell time

To go glidin' in a one-horse sleigh.

Giddyap, jingle-horse; pick up your feet.

Jingle around the clock.

Mix and mingle in a jingling beat;

That's the jingle bell,

That's the jingle bell,

That's the jingle bell rock!

The Christmas Song

Chestnuts roasting on an open fire,

Jack Frost nipping at your nose,

Yuletide carols being sung by a choir

And folks dressed up like Eskimos.

Everybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe

Help to make the season bright.

Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow

Will find it hard to sleep tonight.

They know that Santa's on his way.

He's loaded lots of toys and goodies on his sleigh.

And every mother's child is gonna spy

To see if reindeer really know how to fly.

And so I'm offering this simple phrase

To kids from one to ninety-two.

Although it's been said many times, many ways,

Merry Christmas to you.

Deck the Hall

Deck the hall with boughs of holly. Fa la la la la la la la la.

'Tis the season to be jolly. Fa la la la la la la la la.

Don we now our gay apparel.Fa la la la la la la la la.

Troll the ancient Yuletide carol. Fa la la la la la la la la.

Joy to the World

Joy to the world, the Lord is come.

Let earth receive her king.

Let every heart prepare him room,

And heaven and nature sing,

And heaven and nature sing,

And heaven, and heaven and nature sing.

Jolly Old St. Nicholas

Jolly Old St. Nicholas, lean your ear this way.

Don't you tell a single soul what I'm going to say.

Christmas Eve is coming soon; now, you dear old man,

Whisper what you'll bring to me. Tell me if you can!

Light the Candles

Light the little candles, and sing a song for Hanukkah;

Dreidels spinning gaily, for Hanukkah is here.

Turning, turning, hora dancers turn and turn.

Burning, burning, see the bright Menorah burn.

Hanukkah time is here; let's all be happy.

Hanukkah time is here; la la la la la.

O Christmas Tree

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree, thy leaves are so unchanging!

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree, thy leaves are so unchanging!

Not only green when summer's here, but also when 'tis cold and drear.

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree, thy leaves are so unchanging!

Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer

You know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen,

Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen,

But do you recall the most famous reindeer of all?

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer had a very shiny nose,

And if you ever saw it, you would even say it glows.

All of the other reindeer used to laugh and call him names.

They never let poor Rudolph join in any reindeer games.

Then one foggy Christmas Eve, Santa came to say:

“Rudolph, with your nose so bright, won't you guide my sleigh tonight?”

Then how the reindeer loved him, as they shouted out with glee,

Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer, you'll go down in history!

White Christmas

I'm dreaming of a White Christmas, just like the ones I used to know,

Where the tree-tops glisten, and children listen to hear sleigh-bells in the snow.

I'm dreaming of a White Christmas, with every Christmas card I write:

“May your days be merry and bright, and may all your Christmases be white.”

Up On The Housetop

Up on the housetop reindeer pause,

Out jumps good old Santa Claus!

Down through the chimney with lots of toys,

All for the little ones, Christmas joys.

Ho! Ho! Ho! Who wouldn't go?

Ho! Ho! Ho! Who wouldn't go?

Up on the housetop, click, click, click!

Down through the chimney with good St. Nick.

First comes the stocking of little Nell,

Oh, Dear Santa, fill it well!

Give her a dolly that laughs and cries,

One that can open and shut its eyes.

Ho! Ho! Ho! Who wouldn't go?

Ho! Ho! Ho! Who wouldn't go?

Up on the housetop, click, click, click!

Down through the chimney with good St. Nick.

Look in the stocking of little Bill,

Oh just see what a glorious fill!

Here is a hammer and lots of tacks,

Whistle and a ball, and a whip that cracks!

Ho! Ho! Ho! Who wouldn't go?

Ho! Ho! Ho! Who wouldn't go?

Up on the housetop, click, click, click!

Down through the chimney with good St. Nick.

Jingle Bells

Dashing through the snow,

In a one-horse open sleigh,

O’er the fields we go,
Laughing all the way.

Bells on bobtail ring,

Making spirits bright,

What fun it is to ride and sing

A sleighing song tonight. Oh!

Jingle bells, jingle bells!

Jingle all the way!

Oh what fun it is to ride

In a one-horse open sleigh!

Jingle bells, jingle bells!

Jingle all the way!

Oh what fun it is to ride

In a one-horse open sleigh! Hey!

Hanukkah Time

Light the candles,

Light the candles,

Light the candles at Hanukkah time.

Spin your dreidl,

Spin your dreidl,

Spin your dreidl at Hanukkah time.

Dance together,

Dance together,

Dance together at Hanukkah time.

The Little Drummer Boy

Come, they told me, pa-rum-pa-pum-pum

A newborn king to see, pa-rum-pa-pum-pum

Our finest gifts we bring, pa-rum-pa-pum-pum

To lay before the king.

Pa-rum-pa-pum-pum, rum-pa-pum-pum, rum-pa-pum-pum

So to honor him, pa-rum-pa-pum-pum

When we come.

Little baby, pa-rum-pa-pum-pum

I am a poor boy too, pa-rum-pa-pum-pum

I have no gift to bring, pa-rum-pa-pum-pum

That’s fit to give a king,

Pa-rum-pa-pum-pum, rum-pa-pum-pum, rum-pa-pum-pum

Shall I play for you, pa-rum-pa-pum-pum

On my drum?

Mary nodded, pa-rum-pa-pum-pum

The ox and lamb kept time, pa-rum-pa-pum-pum

I played my drum for him, pa-rum-pa-pum-pum

I played my best for him,

Pa-rum-pa-pum-pum, rum-pa-pum-pum, rum-pa-pum-pum

Then he smiled at me, pa-rum-pa-pum-pum

Me and my drum.

So be good for goodness’ sake! Oh,
