Few activities are more powerful for professional learning than self-assessment and reflection on practice. We learn not so much from our experience, but from the reflection on our experience. When completing the form, provide reflective statements for Planning and Preparation, Classroom Environment, Delivery of Service and Professional Responsibilities.

Planning and Preparation

·  Demonstrating knowledge of current trends in preservice education and professional development
·  Demonstrating knowledge of the district-university partnership, and skill in delivering the PDS program
·  Establishing goals for the PDS program and the partnership that support the district mission and vision
·  Demonstrating knowledge of resources, both within and beyond the district and university
·  Planning the PDS program, integrated and aligned with the district initiatives
·  Developing a plan to evaluate the PDS program
