Sealed bids are invited in two covers system from the reputed manufacturer/oil companies for the “Supply of 2500KL of HFO by rail wagons and 500KL of LDO by road tankers” required for Bellary Thermal Power Station. Interested Bidders may collect blank tender booklet by paying `2700/- (Extra `60/-if required by post) in the form of demand draft drawn in favour of Deputy General Manager (F) BTPS payable at Bellary. EMD amount ` 11 lakh for 2500KL of HFO and ` 3.5 lakh for 500KL of LDO. Date of issue of blank tender document is from 09.07.2014. Last date for submission of completed bid documents is 08.08.2014 up to 11.00AM and the bids will be opened on the same day at 11.30AM in presence of available bidders. 1) Sealed bids are invited in two covers system from the reputed manufacturers / Oil companies for the “Supply of 2500KL of HFO by rail wagons and 500KL of LDO by road tankers ” which are required for Bellary Thermal Power Station, Karnataka Power Corporation Limited, Kudathini-583152, Bellary District.
2) Blank Tender forms may be obtained on presentation of the tender fee of ` 2700/- (Extra ` 60/- if required by post) in the form of crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of DGM(F)BT, Bellary Thermal Power Station, Karnataka Power Corporation Limited, Kudathini, Bellary District, payable at any Nationalized bank.
3) The bidder shall have the following Pre-Qualification Requirements
a. The Bidder should be a Manufacturer and shall furnish the documentary proof.
b. Tenderer shall have sales tax registrations such as CST, TIN etc.
c. The bidder should have supplied at least 1250KL of HFO and 250 KL of LDO to any power generating stations and shall furnish latest PO copies as a proof.
4) The Bids shall be submitted along with requisite EMD. The EMD of ` 11 lakh for 2500KL of HFO and ` 3.5 lakh for 500KL of LDO is to be furnished by way of Bank Guarantee/ crossed DD drawn in favour of Deputy General Manager (Finance) BT, KPCL, payable at Bellary.

6) Tenderers are requested to note and abide by the following instructions carefully
The bids shall be submitted in two envelopes (PART-I & PART-II) at the same time on or before the date and time fixed for the receipt of the tender .
The first envelope namely Part-I shall contain
i. Earnest Money Deposit.
ii. Documents pertaining to Pre-Qualification requirements.
iii. Technical Specifications and the tender book duly signed on each page.
The second envelope PART-II should contain price bid only.
PART-I & PART-II shall be enclosed in one big envelope duly superscribed as below and shall be sent to this office on or before the date & time fixed for the receipt of the tender.
