Dear Sir,
I gave CLAT 2015 organized by CLAT Committee on 20th May, 2015. In pursuance to the answer key and question paper circulated by you, I found few discrepancies which are given below. Please look at the same and take necessary action. Even for 1 mark the rankings changes drastically.
Hence, I request you to treat this as urgent and given the number of errors, I request you to ………choose from the three options in the blog………………

List of Errors/Ambiguities in CLAT 2015

6 / d / Incorrect / In the context of Sentence B the noun or the reason cannot be counted. Hence the correct sentence should have been "Your stand is beyond reason." In Sentences C & D respectively, there should be an indefinite article "a" before "friend" and "profitable" Thus B, C and D are all incorrect and since we need to identify the incorrect statements none of the options are correct. The correct answer should be Sentence B, C and D.

25 / b / Incorrect / Option C is the correct answer. Dulcet refers to a sweet and soothing sound while raucous means a loud noise. Hence, dulcet and raucous are antonyms. Similarly, palliative refers to relieving or soothing of pain whereas, exacerbate refers to worsening something. Palliative and Exacerbate can be considered as antonyms. Option (b) refers to synonyms. Option (d) also refers to antonyms but Theory is noun while Practical is adjective.
30 / c / Incorrect / None of the choice is correct.
Answer as per CLAT: Choice (C) foreign change bankruptcy and paucity of funds with the government.
There is a typographical error – the word change should be replaced with exchange to get the correct answer.
35 / d / Incorrect / Typing error “projection” instead of protection.
If this is ignored and we choose to read Projectionist as Protectionist, even then the correct answer should be Choice (B) while CLAT has given the answer as Choice (D). Refer to the first sentence of the third paragraph.
37 / a / Incorrect / Wrong Options A, B and C talks about politicians. However, the passage talks about government policies. Hence, government policies should replace politicians. Furthermore, assuming that the word politicians is replaced with policies, option (C) seems to be correct as well because the author talks about the inadequacies of the present policies of the government. Refer to the last paragraph.

If Legal knowledge is applied then the idea is on competence to contract. Shyamsunder must have reverted back accepting the offer which is missing in the instant case. Hence, Shyamsunder can refuse to sell the car.
118 / c / Ambiguous / Legal Knowledge required. Ignorance of law is not an excuse while ignorance of fact can be. This is the literal meaning of the principle stated. It should be noted that in legal parlance mistake of law is used interchangeably with ignorance of law and similarly with ignorance of fact. But english meaning of the two differs.
