Main board director of Co-operative Banking Group with responsibility for defining and delivering the Group’s service strategy on behalf of 9m customers across all product groups including checking accounts, credit cards, personal loans, mortgages, general insurance and life insurance. Key achievements include successful merger of CBG and Britannia Building Society, leading to annualised synergy savings of £60m p.a., winner of the JD Power Retail Banking Satisfaction Survey in 2009,and named the world’s most sustainable bank by the Financial Times in 2010.
