Spring Break 2012

April 7, 2012 – April 14, 2012

Guidelines

  1. You will not bring your cell phone. (You can use an adults cell phone to call your parents at anytime during the trip. Your parents are welcome to call you on an adults cell phone at anytime during the trip.)
  2. Absolutely no use of drugs, alcohol or tobacco products.
  3. Must refrain from Public/Non-Public Display of affection! (Don’t make out)
  4. You must wear a bathing suit that is decent! Girls: it must be a respectable tankini or a one piece. Guys: NO SPEEDOS!!!
  5. If you have any tattoos on your body they cannot be visible.
  6. If you have any piercing other than earrings they cannot be visible.
  7. You must follow the dress code. This is at the discretion of Mark and the other adult leaders.
  8. No secular music!
  9. No magazines, papers or books that take away from the spirit of the week!
  10. You cannot purchase any obscene materials! Any purchase that is considered obscene will be confiscated and an attempt will be made to return it. If that is not possible, it will be given to your parents when we return.
  11. While we are on our trip you are not allowed to get any tattoos or piercings (fake or real). No exceptions!
  12. You cannot have a person of the opposite sex into your room No Exceptions!!!
  13. Obey the curfew that is set.
  14. Respect the property that we are using. Any destruction of property, will be the responsibility of you or your parent(s).
  15. Participation in all events is required!
  16. NO PUT-DOWNS or COMPLAINTS!!!!!
  17. Have a GREAT TIME!
  18. We reserve the right to search the students’ CDs, books, magazines, etc.

The above guidelines are for the safety of the trip and for the students’ and adults’ physical and spiritual well-being. If a student decides to break one of these guidelines it can lead to his or her immediate return home (an airplane ticket will be purchased and the parent(s) will reimburse Kenwood Heights Christian Church the cost of the ticket).

This will be a great trip, but it requires the cooperation of the students and adults for us to have a great time and grow in our faith. If you have any questions about the information above, make them known before the trip.

I AGREE TO ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE BEHAVIOR OF MY CHILD ON THIS TRIP. IF IT IS DECIDED THAT MY CHILD MUST COME HOME BECAUSE OF DISCIPLINE PROBLEMS, I WILL ACCEPT THE FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY.
