Centre & Qualifications Withdrawal Policy

CELL Awards requires formal notification from centres wishing to withdraw (voluntarily or not) from delivery of CELL Awards qualifications.

The centre should take all reasonable steps including making transitional provisions to protect the interests of the learner in the case of withdrawal to include:

  • Provision of guided learning hours and learning outcomes as required by the relevant CELL Awards syllabus
  • Completion of CELL Awards courses where learners have been registered
  • Providing assessment opportunity for the learners as required by CELL Awards and the Centre’s agreement with CELL Awards
  • Providing learners with guidance and support as required by CELL Awards and the Centre’s agreement with CELL Awards
  • Giving access to the centre’s induction, complaints and appeals procedures
  • Making certification claims on behalf of the learners
  • Providing re-assessment opportunities for the learners where appropriate

Procedure

Where withdrawal is required the centre should notify CELL Awards in writing via submission of a completed CELL Awards Centre Withdrawal Notification Form

CELL Awards will confirm receipt of notification within 5 working days

The Centre must maintain records of all learner assessment and internal quality assurance activity and make these available to CELL Awards for external verification on request for a year after the withdrawal date
