The KernCounty 4-H program hosted its annual Achievement Night on Friday, August 14, 2009 at the Kern County Fairgrounds. Achievement Night is an event that recognizes the efforts and accomplishments of those involved with the 4-H program. Many outstanding 4-H members, their families, and their dedicated leaders and supporters were honored.
County medalists and seal winners for project record books received their awards at the ceremony hosted by the KernCounty 4-H All Stars. In addition to 4-H awards, the county medalists received a certificate of recognition from Congressman Kevin McCarthy, State Senators Roy Ashburn and Dean Florez, Assemblywomen Connie Conway and Jean Fuller, and Assemblyman Danny Gilmore.
