Dear Federation Representatives:
The Central California Kendo Federation is pleased to host the 2016 All California Open Kendo Tournament on Sunday, September 4, 2016, in Parlier, California, at the Parlier High School North Gym, address: 601 3rd Street, Parlier, CA. 93648
On the tournament date, 9-4-16, registration will be from 8am-8:30am.
Please find the attached tournament details as well as the registration forms in the Excel file. We request that all information is populated in the registration and that all ages are entered as of September 4, 2016. Please be advised that a combined registration along with one federation payment is requested as follows:
Early Bird Entry Fee DUE DATE: July 31st, 2016
Adult (18 years old and older) : $15.00
Youth (17 years old and under): $15.00
Early Bird Registration must be received via email by July 31st, 2016
Final Entry Fee DUE DATE: August 10th, 2016
Adult (18 years old and older) : $20.00
Youth (17 years old and under): $20.00

There will be an open godokeiko on Saturday, September 3, 2016 from 4:00 PM tp 5:30 PM at the Parlier High School, South Gym [same address as noted above] for all who wish to practice. There will also be a Welcome Party Saturday evening following the godokeiko (Details for the Welcome Party Dinner location will be provided on a later date).
Lastly, we request if each federation could communicate our program booklet advertising and donation opportunities (details attached), to your respective California Kendo Federation dojos [NCKF, SCKF, SCKO, WKF, CCKF] and supporting businesses and friends. Submissions for the program booklet are also DUE August 10th, 2016 and should be included in the single check payment. A payment worksheet is attached in the Excel file for your convenience.

· Senior (50 years old & Older: 1Dan – 5Dan)
· Super Senior (50 years & older: 6 Dan and up)
· 12-Member Federation Team

Shiai Rules: / Individual Divisions
· Individuals can only participate in one individual division
· Each kenshi must supply his/her own set of tasuki
· Time Limits: *Except: Semi-finals and Finals: unlimited encho.
o All divisions except Yudansha and Seniors: 3 minutes-1 minute encho and Hantei.
o Yudansha & Senior divisions: 4 minutes-1 minute encho and Hantei.
Team Competition
· Limit one team per federation
· Teams will consist of 12-members as outlined on attached entry form
· Time limit: 3 minutes / no encho
· In case of a tie between teams in wins and points, each team will select their best kendoist for daihyosen (ippon shobu).
